One of the rules for supervising people is to not ask them to do something they will refuse unless you are looking for a confrontation. The democrats have asked to be confronted and we will accommodate them.

Our gun laws are not meant to save lives, they are written to control the honest citizenry. While biden talks big about gun control between naps and infusion treatments democrat mayors are having to face reality. Major crimes are committed by repeat offenders who are being released on no cash bail with multiple pending felonies. They can only parrot the liberal talking points so long before even the dumbest among them cry if only the law had kept that person in jail my friend or loved one would be alive today!!!

Missouri Senate Passes Gun Nullification Bill

Missouri Republicans moved a step closer in their attempt to nullify some federal gun laws Wednesday when the Senate passed legislation that would bar federal workers from some state careers for enforcing such policies.

The Senate voted 23-8 to send the bill back to the House, where it passed earlier. The House can either accept the Senate’s changes or negotiate a compromise version.

Senators voted for the bill along party lines with Republicans in support and Democrats in opposition. It would declare “null and void” any past, present or future federal law deemed to be an infringement on gun rights for law-abiding citizens.

Federal agents who knowingly enforce those laws could face civil penalties stemming from lawsuits filed by Missouri residents who think their gun rights were infringed. Those workers would also be banned from future careers in state or local enforcement.

“We want to cause a reason for law enforcement to have a healthy pause before they might infringe on the Second Amendment rights of Missouri citizens,” said Sen. Brian Nieves, R-Washington........

There is no compromise, if I have four children and you want to kill them all a compromise would be if I agree to let you just kill one or two. If you know how to use a calculator you should know that when you put in wrong numbers you never get the right answer! You are asking the wrong questions!

You believe in "Freedom"(tm), Mort. Real freedom is to not need to own a gun to protect yourself. If you paid sufficient taxes and allowed your government(s) to spend that money and hire sufficient police officers you wouldn't be living in terror, hiding under your blankets, grasping your fetish objects to protect yourself. All that is needed is sufficient background checks and a limit on the number and type of firearms you can own, and you'd be a lot safer. Criminals could be and should be charged for possession and misuse of a firearm just as a non-criminal should be. No "plea deals". If you want the "Freedom"(tm) to own a firearm you must also accept the responsibility to own one. The means you need to be licensed and you need to demonstrate that you can safely use that firearm. It isn't rocket science. Roll Eyes
