Ukrainian MP: Joe Biden got nearly $1M from Burisma for lobbying
He wants the DOJ to investigate

A Ukrainian member of Parliament said former Vice President Joe Biden received $900,000 from Burisma for lobbying activities and called for the U.S. Department of Justice to investigate further, according to Ukrainian news agency Interfax.

"This was the transfer of Burisma Group's funds for lobbying activities, as investigators believe, personally to Joe Biden through a lobbying company," Derkach said. "Funds in the amount of $900,000 were transferred to the U.S.-based company Rosemont Seneca Partners, which according to open sources, in particular, the New York Times, is affiliated with Biden. The payment reference was payment for consultative services."

Derkach also alleged that $16.5 million was paid by Burisma to a group of representatives that included Hunter Biden. He said Joe Biden used "political and economic levelers of influencing Ukrainian authorities and manipulating the issue of providing financial aid to Ukraine" to help Burisma by closing investigations into Burisma group's founder and owner, Mykola Zlochevsky.

According to Derkach, there is a clear link between a $1 billion loan guarantee signed between the U.S. and Ukraine, and the firing of prosecutor general Viktor Shokin two months before. Shokin was investigating Burisma before he was fired.

"Biden's fifth visit to Kyiv on December 7-8, 2015, was devoted to making a decision on the resignation of [then Ukrainian Prosecutor General] Viktor Shokin over the case of Zlochevsky and Burisma," Derkach said. "Loan guarantees worth $1 billion that the United States was to give to Ukraine was the point of pressure. Biden himself admitted exerting pressure in his speech at the Council of Foreign Relations in January 2018, calling Shokin 'son of a bitch who was fired.'"

The Biden campaign did not immediately return a request by TheBlaze for comment on Derkach's allegations.

Rudy Giuliani, attorney for President Donald Trump, pointed to Derkach's allegations to support his own claims of the Bidens' corruption in Ukraine.

"This case stinks. They can run away from it all they want," Giuliani said on Fox News on Wednesday, also suggesting that there was corruption involving Biden with China and Romania.

Joe Biden 'Personally Paid $900,000 By Burisma' According To Ukrainian MP In Bombshell Admission

Ukrainian MP Andriy Derkach revealed on Wednesday that former Vice President Joe Biden received $900,000 from Burisma Group for lobbying activities, citing materials related to an investigation.

Via Interfax:

Former U.S. Vice President Joe Biden received $900,000 for lobbying activities from Burisma Group, Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada member Andriy Derkach said citing investigation materials.

Derkach publicized documents which, as he said, "describe the mechanism of getting money by Biden Sr." at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine's press center in Kyiv on Wednesday. -Interfax

"This was the transfer of Burisma Group's funds for lobbying activities, as investigators believe, personally to Joe Biden through a lobbying company. Funds in the amount of $900,000 were transferred to the U.S.-based company Rosemont Seneca Partners, which according to open sources, in particular, the New York Times, is affiliated with Biden. The payment reference was payment for consultative services," said Derkach.

Derkach also puiblicized sums of money transferred to Burisma Group representatives - including Joe Biden's son Hunter.

"According to the documents, Burisma paid no less than $16.5 million to [former Polish President, who became an independent director at Burisma Holdings in 2014] Aleksander Kwasniewski, [chairman of the Burisma board of independent directors] Alan Apter, [Burisma independent director] Devon Archer and Hunter Biden [who joined the Burisma board of directors in 2014]," Derkach added.

"Using political and economic levelers of influencing Ukrainian authorities and manipulating the issue of providing financial aid to Ukraine, Joe Biden actively assisted closing criminal cases into the activity of former Ukrainian Ecology Minister Mykola Zlochevsky, who is the founder and owner of Burisma Group."

"Biden's fifth visit to Kyiv on December 7-8, 2015 was devoted to making a decision on the resignation of [then Ukrainian Prosecutor General] Viktor Shokin over the case of Zlochevsky and Burisma. Loan guarantees worth $1 billion that the United States was to give to Ukraine was the point of pressure. Biden himself admitted exerting pressure in his speech at the Council of Foreign Relations in January 2018, calling Shokin 'son of a bitch who was fired'," Derkach added.

Via Interfax:

The timeline of events proves that the U.S. linked the Zlochevsky case to loan guarantees, he said.

After the decree dismissing Shokin was published on April 3, 2016, the governments of the United States and Ukraine signed a loan guarantee agreement worth $1 billion, several months later, on June 3, he said.

"In this case, there are facts should be subject to investigation. There is an agency that has powers to investigate them; the U.S. Department of Justice. If the Ukrainian Prosecutor General signs documents and send them to U.S. Department of Justice without any requests, he will accomplish his mission," he said, adding that the Ukrainian Prosecutor General has such powers.

"Considering international corruption in public is a way-out for President Zelensky. I am certain that he is not involved in international corruption," Derkach said.

It was reported earlier that Derkach publicized correspondence between the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and officers of the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv. According to publicized correspondence, starting from July 14, 2017, the lists of criminal proceedings undertaken by NABU officers were sent from the electronic mailbox of Polina Chyzh, an assistant to NABU first deputy head Gizo Uglava, to the electronic mailbox of Hanna Yemelianova, a legal specialist of the anti-corruption program of the U.S. Justice Department at U.S. Embassy in Ukraine.

Derkach says he will publish the leaked documents on his Facebook account, and will initiate the creation of an ad hoc parliamentary investigative commission, "and has already requested launching a criminal case against Ukrainian officials into interference into U.S. elections," according to the report.

Watch them go after Giuliani now that he's exposing all of this.

Quote:
Ukrainians Arrested Hours After Having Lunch with Rudy Giuliani at Trump Hotel DC

Federal prosecutors arrested two Ukrainian-Americans Wednesday evening at Dulles Airport as they were waiting to board their one-way flights to Vienna, Austria.

The two Ukrainians who were arrested, Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman, are associates of Giuliani’s and helped him in his efforts to investigate the Biden crime family.

They wont investigate the Biden/Clinton/DNC crimes - only attack those who are trying to expose those crimes.

America has been taken over by Traitors and half of Americans are blind as to whats going on.

Clearly it is not a crime if the Democrats do it but if Trump or his sons were accused everything would be different!

Let's get to the bottom of this, dear ones. Andryi Derkach has published evidence that the Burisma gas company paid $900,000 to the US lobbying firm Rosemont Seneca.

Rosemont Seneca was co-founded by Joe Biden's son, Hunter Biden. Hunter, of course, was also on the board of Burisma.

Giuliani then went on Hannity and repeated Derkach's claim. He made the point that you won't read this in the mainstream media.

The New York Post then published the Derkach/Giuliani claim that the $900,000 paid to Rosemont Seneca was a bribe to Joe Biden, but it was clear to point out that this is an unfounded allegation and that, to date, there is no evidence to connect the payment to Joe Biden.

Giuliani's claim that "you won't read this in the New York Times is correct." Without evidence, the claim that the payment was made to Joe Biden would be libellous. This is why the New York Post was careful to specify that this was merely Giuliani's claim. The Post is owned by Murdoch. Giuliani's claim was made on another Murdoch-owned outlet, Fox News.

Truth is facts, dear ones, facts are truth. Giuliani has taken to holding up sheets of paper on Fox News, claiming "evidence". Derkach published his evidence on Facebook. Burisma did indeed pay $900,0000 to Rosemont Seneca.

But I'm curious. Where is the evidence that the money was paid to Joe Biden? Giuliani didn't say. Hannity didn't ask. The New York Post simply repeated the claim.

Elected officials in the US must disclose all financial conflicts of interest and publish all political donations. They must also disclose affiliations with lobby groups like Rosemont Seneca. Any personal or political payment like this would be traceable.

Payment for lobbying services, of course, is legal. Being a paid lobbyist within government is illegal.

Let's get to the truth here, beloveds. Does anybody know these facts?

On the evidence, Giuliani's claims are libellous. Hannity and Fox News are also at risk.

I'm not sure of the US libel laws - they do have a 1st amendment - but publishing false allegations is grounds for litigation.

When Biden's campaign wrote to the networks, he demanded that they stop publishing bullsht without question. I'm not sure if he threatened to sue. I'm not sure if he can, given the right to political free speech.

Hannity let Giuliani hold up his papers and make unsubstantiated claims without interruption. The claim that Biden personally profited from political deals is, to date, unproven.

Pizzagate and Birtherism caused huge political damage to Hillary and Obama. Alex Jones was sued, forced to apologise and take down his lucrative Infowars channel.

Facts are truth. Let's get to the bottom of this one, beloveds.

Biden’s son, Hunter, has had a pretty troubled life with drugs and booze and relationship problems. He was thrown out of the navy reserve for testing positive to cocaine. He has also ruthlessly used his father’s name and connections to forge a profitable business career.

Just after Joe Biden was given responsibility for leading policy in the Obama administration on Ukraine, Hunter Biden was appointed to the board of Ukrainian gas company Burisma, founded by an ex-communist oligarch and much accused of corruption. Hunter Biden had no experience or expertise in gas or in Ukraine. He was paid $US50,000 a month for his board position and allegedly had other lucrative transactions with the company.

Is there a single person on God’s green earth who thinks Hunter Biden got that lucrative appointment for any reason other than that he was Joe Biden’s son?

On another occasion, Hunter Biden flew with his dad on Air Force Two to China, when Biden Sr was making an official visit as vice-president. Hunter arranged a photo op for his Chinese business partner with his dad, the veep. One of Hunter’s projects was raising an investment fund with Chinese backing. Amazingly, the son of the serving vice-president, having travelled to China on Air Force Two and introduced his partners to Dad, was successful in securing substantial Chinese backing for the fund. Even newspapers sympathetic to the Bidens say the sums raised were substantial. Some put them at $US1.5bn.

On yet another occasion, Hunter Biden received a diamond as a personal gift from a Chinese business associate. We don’t know its value because, Biden Jr says, he gave it away.

None of this, on its face, is illegal. But does anyone think this was the right way for the Biden family to behave?

Yes, dear boy, Mr Trump:

Quote:
"I don't know those gentlemen. Now it's possible I have a picture with them because I have a picture with everybody, I have a picture with everybody here," Trump said, adding that someone told him there "may be" a photo with them "at a fundraiser or somewhere, but I have pictures with everybody."
https://edition-m.cnn.com/2019/10/10/politics/donald-trump-lev-parnas-igor-fruma...

And the State Department:

Quote:
On May 13, 2014, after Hunter’s role on the Burisma board was reported in the news, Jen Psaki, a State Department spokesperson, said that the State Department was not concerned about perceived conflicts of interest, because Hunter was a “private citizen.”

And Burisma:

Quote:
Hunter told Burisma’s management and other board members that he would not be involved in any matters that were connected to the U.S. government or to his father. Kwaśniewski told me, “We never discussed how the Vice-President can help us. Frankly speaking, we didn’t need such help.”

But not Hunter:

Quote:
Hunter declined Burisma’s offer to serve another term on the board, believing that the controversy had become a distraction. But he said that he was proud of his work there, and that he thought the criticism was misplaced. “I feel the decisions that I made were the right decisions for my family and for me,” he told me. “Was it worth it? Was it worth the pain? No. It certainly wasn’t worth the grief.” He went on, “I would never have been able to predict that Donald Trump would have picked me out as the tip of the spear against the one person they believe can beat them.”

https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2019/07/08/will-hunter-biden-jeopardize-his-f...

But let's stop virtue signalling and get down to the facts, shall we?

How did Biden profit?
