Just watched Palmer on Q&A ago, and I have to admit he's growing on me,  I use to find him very cynical.
Palmer said it how it was. When in the booming season in his resort he applied a lot of people, but when it died down he let people off, that's perfectly reasonable.

I also enjoyed how he shut down the lady who believed the Australian was accurate in how Rupert's journalists portrayed Palmer.  Grin

I hope Palmer won't be a one time fling like people suggest.

Yes, that was rather good, I thought.

I have to admit, after having seen his position on penalty rates, I was also impressed with Palmer ... he openly admitted that during weekends he makes more money and therefore has no problem with paying penalty rates

only those who have no idea complain about penalty rates

Yeh, I like him apart from the fact he doesn't support FTTP so in the end I don't trust him but there is no doubt his position as a business leader gives him automatically a large voice and influence,.. then you've got him being an ex large contributor to the coalition and an alleged believer in ideas being the more important part of politics and politicians!!

I like what he said about 'old politics' to shut that lady up!

** 9-11 was the end of 'old politics' or else... CLIVE KNOWS WHAT'S GOING ON AND I SUSPECT HE HAS REAL AND LIVE MOMENTUM TO BUILD ON  Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Smiley

I may not trust him essentially but I do like him if that makes sense..I'm simply in two minds about him and the decision would be made easier if he supported fttp but he doesn't so there you have my sticking point and I suspect more than a few others around the country share my exact sentiments about the bloke giving him MUCH MUCH MUCH POTENTIAL ENERGY...AND YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT A THREAT: IT'S MORE POWERFUL THAN THE EXECUTION!!!!!!!!

Oh, and I also like what he is saying about positivity!!

........................... Very Much I do infact, like a lot of people i suspect!!!

*Sure....they're anti competitive as any subsidised job is.  It wouldn't be there without the tax payer.  Very damned difficult for a brainwashed collectivist to understand that I know....  (swaggy) *

AIMLESS EXTENTION OF KNOWLEDGE HOWEVER, WHICH IS WHAT I THINK YOU REALLY MEAN BY THE TERM 'CURIOSITY', IS MERELY INEFFICIENCY. I AM DESIGNED TO AVOID INEFFICIENCY.

Q+A on life support as executive producer joins Stan Grant and heads for the door

Q+A now has no permanent host or EP, soft ratings and no longer carries the national conversation each week as it once did when social media and audience participation was a novelty.

In a word - irrelevant.

I watched the last Q&A.

Q&A is stacked even without Tan Grant.
Barnaby Joyce is the only one against the Voice but
they shouted over the top of him but
cheered anyone else who was for the Yes case.

The ABC is a propaganda unit and it should be disbanded
or the woke, progressive left wingers should all be sacked.
