Yes, it was quite slow yesterday and it seemed to "co-incide" with some apparently "heavy traffic", in terms of "Views", for example -

I suspect it has increased since they changed the settings - ie you speed the site up, more people visit until it slows down again. The bots probably cause the biggest load.
