Aug 16^th, 2012 at 8:49am A donkey vote is fence sitting ... fence sitting is a vote for the status quo. Is a donkey vote a vote for more of the same ... the same, these people pretend to dislike. Would it be more logical to use the vote against the sitting member, who ever they are. That way helping to solve the problem.

IN very marginal seats it can be the difference between winnng and losing. I forget the percentage of donkey votes but it could have been as high as 2%. How many electorates have margins lower than that?

The position of candidates on the list is chosen by lotterey exactly becaue a high position can get you a slightly higher vote.

I would rather vote for the Don Key party, than vote for 99% of the usual party hack Donkeys!
