I think that's probably right, Marla. Since his DL started his endless wars, Aquascoot's converted to Armaggedonism.
This is a new school of thought, propagated by various guests on the Joe Rogan Experience. They contend real men should hasten the end of civilization and wreck the joint for future generations.
The world's pretty krap, Aquascoot says. Probably best to bring on WWIII and be done with it.
Prior to his conversion, Aquascoot described himself as a "noble capitalist". He liked free trade, he voted for the Country Party.
Aquascoot hoped the "noble Ron D" would win your primaries and go on to become prez. He liked Ron's superior policies.
Which ones? We asked.
All of them, Aquascoot said. He later changed his mind to go for the big fella instead.
What about
his policies? We asked.
Who needs policies? Aquascoot said. The "noble capitalist", he upon the "narrow road to success". Aquascoot liked DL's riffs on success, economic growth, bringing back free trade and getting out of all the endless wars. Donnie, he said, planned to hit the golf course and leave business in the capable hands of America Inc.
We asked what he thinks about DL's
actions.Aquascoot wasn't sure. Best if we stop thinking about it and just let Donnie get on with the job, he said.
After a bit of prodding, Aquascoot admitted he'd converted to Armaggedonism and just wanted the joint trashed. Let Vlad have it, he said. He's certainly keen.
So, in the space of a few years, Aquascoot went from being a Ron D policy wonk to a Vlad-supporting Armageddonist.
What changed? We asked.
The lefties, Aquascoot said. They were really mean to Donnie.
He did start an insurrection, we suggested.
So? Aquascoot said. They shouldn't have to be so rude. Why can't they just leave him be?
Maybe their super's tanked - or they're cranky about petrol prices.
What a bunch of crybabies, Aquascoot said. The SM relishes adversity -
loves it. Armageddon? Bring it on.
So that's that. To be honest, it was a bit more fun when Aquascoot was a "noble capitalist", throwing a rope down to the chodes, who live lives of pure garbage.
Just when we were getting used to worshipping our whitegoods, Donnie comes along and changes the plan.
Ah, the "narrow road to success". It is a narrow road indeed, no?
