I think Trump will be convicted if impeached for a third time after the midterms. This is because articles of impeachment won't make it to the floor unless the Republicans have lost control of Congress and if that happens, it's likely to be a pretty heavy loss. That means that getting Republicans to cross the floor to join Democrats in convicting Trump will be an easier task because they'll have lost many seats and will see removing Trump as the only way to resurrect the GOP and get their party back into office - eventually. That and the Democrats won't need as many Republicans to vote with them if they can pick up as many seats as possible.
