So then, in order to act on this alleged criminal activity of the President, the DOJ would simply have to petition SCOTUS for clarification of it's immunity limitations, if any, & depending on SCOTUS's possible ruling, the DOJ, if it wishes to do so, the DOJ would then be able to prosecute the sitting President of the United States if it wished to.

Right?

Or just impeach him in January.

Which route would you take, Panther?

Well you do know the DOJ can't impeach the President of the United States, so it isn't up to me what the US House of Representatives will do, but looking at their previous track record, if they have a majority, they may just have to seriously look at trying again....& again.....& again infinitum!

Hate is a hefty motivator.  Grin

If the Democrats sweep the GOP out of the House and Senate, there's little doubt Trump will get impeached AND convicted this time. The evidence against him is incontrovertible.

He has to be impeached - that's a given.

It's the job of Congress to do so.

If they don't, they should be condemned unconditionally.

Most of what Trump does is illegal - Doesn't seem to matter much.

They even cancelled criminal charges against him, not because he wasn't a criminal but because he was President.

Mokes no sense at all, why would they want to cover up for a criminal in the presidency ? I guess it makes sense for the leader of an idiocracy.

Ah yes, and even his 34 felony convictions would have resulted in jail time if he didn't become prez.

Lee, however, has expressed no moral qualms with falsifying business records in an attempt to influence the outcome of an election.

Lee's now being asked if he takes any issue with using millions in taxpayer money to fund political campaign ads.

If the Kenyan or the Autopen did it, I'm sure Lee would have no hesitation, but let's give him the benefit of the doubt until he addresses the question.

There may be ethical implications we haven't yet considered.

he's a criminal

And an adjudicated rapist.

He's also been impeached more times than any President in US history...

Also an
alleged
child rapist who appears in the Epstein Files more times than Epstein.

Accused, but never, ever found guilty of a crime by the unanimous vote of a jury of his peers.

There's nothing alleged about his crimes against E. Jean Carroll. There's nothing alleged about his hush money payments to Stormy Daniels.

Firstly, the E. Jean Carroll case was not a criminal trial, & the only outcome possible was financial settlement/award, not a criminal conviction.

Secondly, you pay a whore named Stormy, & the whore is either happy or she tends to a new client..... Wink Grin

Correct.

Donald J. Trump has been accused of violently raping and beating a child and then threatening to kill the child and her family if she told anyone about the attack.

Wow!

Yes.

The "man" you support is an adjudicated rapist and alleged child abuser.

The judge was never required to conclude anything other than the case was conducted properly, so any statements he made were merely his own personal opinions, & they held no weight regarding the outcome of the E. Jean Carroll case.

I like him for what he's done in my, & Americas behalf, after I voted for him....As My President.....I got what I voted for....

Do I always agree with him & his political policies....no I dont....not always, but mostly.

Trump was tried on 34 felonies in a jury trial and convicted of all 34 felonies by the jury related to his hush money payments to Stormy Daniels and falsifying business records to cover it up. The only reason he didn't get jailed over this is because he was being sworn in as President. He was facing up to 4 years on each count. Trump literally belongs in prison, not in the White House. The only person to suffer any repercussions from this is his lawyer - Michael Cohen. He got disbarred due to his federal felony convictions, which included making false statements to Congress, tax evasion, and campaign-finance violations. Once again, someone else takes the fall for Trump.

That would make 3 times. Even the republicans admitted that he was guilty but they still wouldn't convict him. They wont the next time either.

You are entitled to your opinions, which others may or may not agree.

I enjoy the same entitlements much to the Left's chagrin.

PS.....America is not a Democracy. America's Founding Fathers created a Constitutional Republic while summarily rejecting Democracy, & hopefully America will remain so, rejecting both socialism & the mob rule of Democracy.

Accused, ...

Correct.

Donald J. Trump has been accused of violently raping and beating a child and then threatening to kill the child and her family if she told anyone about the attack.

Wow!

Yes.

The "man" you support is an adjudicated rapist and alleged child abuser.

Are those the reasons you like him so much?

I like him for what he's done in my, & Americas behalf, after I voted for him....As My President.....I got what I voted for....

Ah.

You voted for fascism, the end of democracy in the US, high unemployment, high inflation, record breaking gas prices, and endless wars.

Enjoy.

You are entitled to your opinions, ...

I didn't express an opinion - I stated the facts.

Trump is a fascist hell-bent on destroying democracy in the US, and he is responsible for record high unemployment, inflation, gas prices, and he has started another endless unnecessary war.

Enjoy.

Grin

Right. So do you think the next Dem prez should use your taxpayer funds for their campaign ads?

You haven't said.

Just imagine if a Democrat had done one fifth of the corrupt/illegal things Trump has done. The talking heads on Fox News would explode!
