Most of what Trump does is illegal - Doesn't seem to matter much.

They even cancelled criminal charges against him, not because he wasn't a criminal but because he was President.

Mokes no sense at all, why would they want to cover up for a criminal in the presidency ? I guess it makes sense for the leader of an idiocracy.

Ah yes, and even his 34 felony convictions would have resulted in jail time if he didn't become prez.

Lee, however, has expressed no moral qualms with falsifying business records in an attempt to influence the outcome of an election.

Lee's now being asked if he takes any issue with using millions in taxpayer money to fund political campaign ads.

If the Kenyan or the Autopen did it, I'm sure Lee would have no hesitation, but let's give him the benefit of the doubt until he addresses the question.

There may be ethical implications we haven't yet considered.

he's a criminal

And an adjudicated rapist.

So then, in order to act on this alleged criminal activity of the President, the DOJ would simply have to petition SCOTUS for clarification of it's immunity limitations, if any, & depending on SCOTUS's possible ruling, the DOJ, if it wishes to do so, the DOJ would then be able to prosecute the sitting President of the United States if it wished to.

Right?

Correct, he was impeached twice by the House of Representatives, but also found not guilty twice by the United States Senate, who had the final say in both matters.....both impeachments/charges failed to convict.

We're not asking you for a legal reference, Lee, you've been asked for your moral opinion: is using taxpayer money to pay for political campaign ads right or wrong?

The question is not about "moral" the headline specifically says "illegal". Cool

Yes, and I'm asking you a moral question. Do you think this behaviour is wrong?

A simple yes or no will suffice.

Gone.

Morality never was Lee's schtick, I guess.

Well you do know the DOJ can't impeach the President of the United States, so it isn't up to me what the US House of Representatives will do, but looking at their previous track record, if they have a majority, they may just have to seriously look at trying again....& again.....& again infinitum!

Hate is a hefty motivator.

Correct.

Donald J. Trump has been accused of violently raping and beating a child and then threatening to kill the child and her family if she told anyone about the attack.

Wow!.....how could anyone beat those corrosive allegations?

Did they ever present all their mountainous evidence to a grandjury in a US Court of law?

There's nothing alleged about his crimes against E. Jean Carroll. There's nothing alleged about his hush money payments to Stormy Daniels.
