Congrats to the passengers on flydubai

Very lucky to have the pilot who was under attack by the first officer being able to unlock the cockpit door.

Very well done to the passengers who decided to take on the attacker. Cool

It really is great to see members of the public deciding to act rather than cowering down.

How lucky was it to have had other pilots on board as passengers?!

Yaniv Hayoun says he learned how to pull the plane out of a nosedive by watching a Canadian documentary series.

The plane’s captain, Indian national Smit Machchhar, made a crucial decision that saved the flight. He unlocked the cockpit door before the worst of his wounds took effect.

From what little I know of the incident, the plane plummeted quite a distance at quite an angle of descent. Are you able to take control of the plane, level it out, whilst some guy trying to kill you fights off passengers that have come to your aid?
