The disabled will become more disabled by notchallenging themselves.

Just like going to the gym is hard work and painful and a struggle but makes you fitter.

My opinion is disabled carparks should be as far from the shop as possible.

This would allow the disabled person the wonderful opportunity to push struggle sweat and overcome a challenge.

As such , they become more mentally strong, higher self esteem and can become a superior man.

Indeed , a person on crutches who climbed Mt Everest deserves more respect then an able bodied person.

A disability is a great thing if you accept it fully and  don't let it define you

If i weren't already convinced that you are a psychopath, i would be after reading that.

I knew of a woman who had a mild form of cerebral palsy. Her friends would say that, as a teenager, this person would run around the place as if on a time schedule. But, by the time she was in her mid 20s, she had let herself get to a point that she needed a wheelchair.

Meanwhile, I have been through checkout lines of people with moderate disabilities manning the counter. Realistically, if you are able to walk, even though you have a disability, you should be able to stand and work.

Coming from you Classic. You hardly work.

As for your comments about the young woman with cerebral palsy letting herself get to a point where she needed a wheelchair - as if it was her fault, is just an appalling comment.

What's your excuse for letting yourself go & turning into a drug affected alcoholic with fantasy delusions of grandeur?

Dude. We have more Resource wealth and variety of it than little UAE & Saudi combined.
Throw in more farming potential and better soil.

Next!  Roll Eyes

The only way Australia would have more farming potential and better soil would be if a line of volcanoes appeared in Western Australia and went "Kaboom!" and spread a heap of volcanic ash to fertilise the desert (and potential eastern regions). I don't know where you have this idea that our soils are fertile. Some regions are very fertile, but rare.

As for resource wealth: we might have scratched the surface to our vast resources decades ago. But these days, I suppose we have just more than a few holes that are just emptying what resouces we have to sell off for cheap to China.

And I can tell you, China has 23% of worldwide car accident deaths. Perhaps they need to put up a lot of disable parking.

When I was going to work by train there was this woman drove a mercedies sports and had a disabled tag so she got to park in the disabled parking. She was always running late. I often walked up past her car as she was parking. The parking at this station was about 300 yards to the station entrance. She needed to just about sprint to the platform to get there on time, This poor disabled woman would give me a 30 yard start and beat me to the station by close to 150 yards. She moved like a rocket. Cannot imagine what her disability was.

Well, now, I hardly do work. In a month's time, it will be 10 years since I have ever done a full time working week. But here I am condemning someone from being an able-bodied person with cerebral palsy becoming a wheelchair-bound person because she kept feeling sorry for herself.

Compared to another guy who had a more moderate form of cerebral palsy, yet can stand at a checkout counter scanning customers' grocery items for 4 hours a day. I can safely say that if you get fat from comfort eating and alcohol, you have no reason to complain about your situation in life. I speak from experience. And, yes, I would say that sitting on your arse all day collecting disability would have caused the worsening of her condition.

I dunno what it is about my heavy drinking and my half-arsing my way in the employment world. Perhaps it is some kind of passive-aggressive protest for having my childhood stolen from me. Having to grow up and be distracted by unpaid work, whilst trying to fight off selfish criminals, and keeping people alive. You could probably understand my need to console myself by taking it easy in my 40s and having a bingeing session nearly every week.

Go ahead. Tell me what I said wrong here. I want to learn something about this. Was it my insensitivity to high rates of Chinese traffic deaths?

Try your first paragraph.

The rest about China is irrelevant.

Australia is not actually a fertile continent. We have sections of the country that are fertile land. But for the rest of it (outside of the desert), farmers have to do their best to make the land fertile enough to grow.

The only way we could have this country be a reliable food-producing nation would be for having active volcanos spreading fertilising ash over the continent. Then we would need a sufficient amount of rainfall to keep soils moist for farming. Alas, we have to make do with what we have.

Gnads,

How about you explain how Australia is in a superior financial position compared to other countries around the world. I will wait for your response.

Yes especially the Disability Car Parks, almost nothing grows well in them, in particular the under cover ones - maybe mushrooms ?

It would take the pressure off city car parks if we grew regional areas instead of metropolitan areas.

If you go to train stations and look at all the empty disabled car spots you would conclude that Australia has a serious shortage of disabled people. I would think that is a good thing.
