Far out the Rams flew in, played the game, and are now flying back to the USA! Shocked

Glutton for jet lag Huh

It’s not just a 16 hour trip, it’s the hours before when checking in unless they have priorities.
And then checking out other end.
Add all them hours up. It’s about 44 hours both ways.

Since 49ers were more social and mingling, it’s any wonder their merch sold out very quickly! And more fans for 49ers than Rams.

Those Ram players were rushed in, played the game, then went out to catch the flight early tonight.
We were discussing here at home tonight, and can’t stop thinking how harsh that was. I feel for the team, doesn’t matter how fit or young or strong, jet lag is a b1tch!
That’s a tough day for them. They’d be knackered.

But why?
Why do it like that when the other team didn’t.
Why not let the Ram team stay over a few days to get a feel for our country?
I had to laugh, after the game, one of the 49ers wanting to do a shoe-ee Grin

Good to see the San Fran team absorbing our yobbo culture Grin

This game is a quick.
There was a general opinion that the Rams would win, maybe if they didn’t played while jet lagged after a 16 hour flight they may have scored better. I’m wondering if any of them knew how long these plane trips would be like, if any of them ever travelled very far from their own country?
It takes me a good 24-48 hours to recover from a long flight. But that’s in crammed cattle class, I bet these guys went business or maybe first class? More comfortable with extra leg room and reclining seat position.
Seems 49ers had the edge on that jet lag alone coming in earlier.
I’m interested to go to a game at some point. But I never trust Melbourne weather Grin

3 & a half hours to play 1 hour of game time?

2 x 30 min halves take 3.5 hours?

In dispersed were stoppages for ads, timeouts & half time entertainment.

Stared at 10.25am & finished at 2pm.

Officially, no.

I wake up after being blackout drunk to see that my youtube videos have played an NFL game replay. I have the same kind of reaction.
