Alice Elisabeth Weidel born 6 February 1979) is a German politician who has been serving as co-chairwoman of the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party alongside Tino Chrupalla since June 2022.

Weidel has said she supports civil partnership for gay and lesbian couples, noting she is a lesbian herself and in a civil partnership with another woman. She opposes legalization of same-sex marriage, stating that she supports protecting the "traditional family".

In 2017, Weidel criticized the immigration policies of Merkel, stating that "the country will be destroyed through this immigration policy. Donald Trump said that Merkel is insane and I absolutely agree with that. It is a completely nonsensical form of politics that is being followed here."

Weidel's partner is a Sri Lankan immigrant.

So?

So because her partner is an immigrant then all migrants via illegal mass migration should be allowed?

Look at what is happening in Europe now - Weidel has been proven right ...no?

Civil Unions for gay couples were all that should have been required in Australia as well.

AfD’s Alice Weidel Grills Merz

Quote:
BERLIN — Alternative for Germany (AfD) co-leader Alice Weidel launched a fierce parliamentary attack against German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, calling for an immediate end to Berlin’s financial and military aid to Ukraine while backing a newly announced U.S.-Russia energy agreement. Addressing the Bundestag, Weidel asserted that 90 percent of German voters oppose continued expenditure on the war effort, citing mounting domestic economic distress, rising corporate insolvencies, and high energy costs. Her scathing remarks came shortly after former U.S. President Donald Trump announced a deal with Moscow to release hundreds of thousands of tonnes of Russian diesel into global markets, a development Weidel seized upon to demand that Germany resume direct imports of Russian crude oil and natural gas to shield its manufacturing base from further decline.
