The Tate brothers “failed to meet their burden to demonstrate that they do not present a risk of flight or danger to the community, or that special circumstances warrant their release,” Judge Lauren Louis wrote in Wednesday’s ruling.
THE TATES SAID THEY PLAY CHARACTERS ONLINE. They can say that now - but they just found out their words don’t matter in court. Finally they are paying attention to what they’ve bragged about online regarding their criminality and flight risk.
At an August 27 hearing in Miami federal court, prosecutors showed the court a video of Andrew Tate saying “slap, slap, grab, choke, shut up bitch, sex.”
Prosecutors said the Tate brothers pose a danger to the community based on the charges against them. Arguing against bail, they also noted that Andrew and Tristan Tate frequently boast about being wealthy, along with having access to private jets and boats, and multiple passports.
Andrew Tate “has stated online that he has seven different passports and 15 driver’s licenses so that if he is stopped by the authorities, he can ‘pull out a license from some random country’ to prevent authorities from determining his true identity,” the U.S. attorney’s office said.
Prosecutors with the Miami U.S. Attorney’s office argued there was a strong presumption in favor of detention in international extradition cases. They said the brothers could pose a danger to the public if released, citing British allegations that they strangled victims during forcible rapes.
The legal process for determining ⁠whether the Tate brothers may be extradited to Britain could take months. Britain has until September 16 to submit its full extradition request to the State Department, U.S. court records show.

There have always been far more laws set to control women than to protect us.

As for women dying in wars ... we weren't allowed to fight! Men said we couldn't; that we had to stay home and run everything on the off-chance they'd be back to take over the household again. Maybe get raped and murdered instead. So few options ... all out of our control.

But were women could step up, we damn well did. Imagine war, for example, without medical staff. For a very, very long time, the only chance a woman without means had of self-determination was to be a nurse or a nun. And an abundance of us showed up for that. And suffered and died in not insignificant numbers.

As for the women "going nuts" without strong men, oh please. Women have been managing both without and in spite of men since we came down from the trees. Look no further than WW2, when women ran industry while the men were at war, kept both the country and the war effort going.

Only to have to shuffle meekly back into the kitchen with no chance of autonomy when the men returned, so often irredeemably monstered by the war Aquascoot thinks brought out the best in men.

I am blessed in my life to have many great men in it. My husband, my son, my father, my uncles, my friends ... much blessed.

And the thing i would point to that makes them all great ... aside from their strength, humour, dependability, gentleness, determination, drive and sense of responsibility ... is compassion.

The single greatest attribute any human can hold is compassion.

From it all that is good flourishes.

Toxic masculinity is the opposite of compassion.
