The premise, old boy. The argument that because a certain number of assaults are committed by whatever groups of people detract from the very real and very serious influence the manospere is having over young, predominately white, young boys and men.

Teachers are reporting it. Parents are reporting it. Siblings are reporting it. Friends are reporting it. And it is all over social media.

We have a very real problem.

And playing "look over there" isn't helping anyone.

As the lady writer in the Spiked article point out, and I agree with her (which is why I posted it), a sense of proportion is important.
Manosphere may be an issue but it is nowhere near as significant as, for example, the systematic Paki Muslim rape gangs preying on white English girls AND its cover up, down-playing and ignoring by politicians, law enforcement and stupid, hypocritical bints and creeps for decades.

You have not uttered a peep about it because for stupid idiots like you, being seen as wacists and Islamophobic by other stupid idiots is worse than speaking up and defending white English girls from predatory brown Muslim rape gangs, let alone putting a stop to it or preventing it. GENEVA — A diplomatic council convened over the weekend to vote on a supplement to the Geneva Conventions officially declaring serving on a jury with shrill liberal women a form of torture.

We are used to the Albanese government’s war on men — treating males like a species to be managed, and boys like suspects in training. A government that ignores seven men killing themselves every day. Family law reforms that treat fathers as the enemy. Consent laws which criminalise everyday sex. A domestic violence industry peddling the lie that violence only runs one way. A health system that keeps stripping money from men to swell women’s health budgets.

Look at the last four years: of all the money earmarked for men’s or women’s health, women got almost 98%. Men got scraps — under 2%. That’s analysis from the Australian Men’s Health Forum, the peak body for men’s health.

Then, last month, out of the blue, Albo and his handbag brigade delivered a real kick to the balls. They pulled the rug out from under a program that supports men when their bodies, and their sense of themselves as men, are most under threat.

They axed the Commonwealth funding for nurses supporting men with Australia’s most commonly diagnosed cancer — money painfully built up over years by the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA), which scraped together the resources to train the 96 nurses who support more than 300,000 Australian men living today after a prostate cancer diagnosis.

It’s taken years to even get this far. That’s maddening when you compare it to breast cancer — the most fashionable cancer cause in the country, with its own colour, its own cricket test, and a PR machine that has produced an embarrassment of riches.

Eight years ago, I made a video at the Pink Test — the cricket match every January that turns the Sydney Cricket Ground into a sea of pink, all in aid of breast cancer nurses. It’s a tribute to wife of cricket legend Glenn McGrath, Jane McGrath, who died of the disease in 2008.

At that time there were just 28 prostate cancer nurses working in this country — compared with more than 300 breast cancer nurses. That year alone, the government had already handed the McGrath Foundation $20 million. And in a single day at the cricket, the Pink Test raised another $1.3 million, enough to fund 119 more nurses. This disparity has only grown since.

An international manhunt is under way. Around the globe, leftist political parties—having previously demonised and marginalised male voters—are now desperately seeking blokes.

This change of direction has been remarkably rapid. Not so long ago, our leftist comrades were loudly and frequently denouncing “toxic masculinity”. Use of that phrase is now in decline, however, as leftists belatedly realise that, besides the votes of Palestinian liberation hair-dye-and-piercings communities, they also need male votes. Normal male votes, that is, not votes that are transitioning to female.

So the manhunt is on. You can bet that Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s recent foray into podcast bloke-talk, during which he expressed a desire to shag Kylie Minogue, was part of this vote-seeking exercise. And here’s where that exercise always goes embarrassingly and comically wrong: no members of the modern leftist political caste, especially those advising the PM, seem to know any normal men.

At best, they can therefore only theorise and guess about male motivations and the path to securing male voter loyalty. Picture an asexual Albanese adviser as he/they weighs up the benefits of a prime ministerial appearance on comedienne Nikki Osborne’s Bush Deep podcast: “Hmmm. Men, as our studies show, exhibit significant sexual attraction to Kylie and other attractive female public figures. Perhaps, if the PM shares details of his own Kylie-centric sexual compulsions, and does so in a forum and fashion apparently enjoyed by normal Australian men, it will help regain the support of the normal male demographic.

“And also make sure that in this context he mentions his NRL team, because all normal men associate sport with sex. Or so I read once in a Twitter extract from the Lancet.”

Labor’s campaign to masculinise Albanese is now in its second decade. Back in 2013, Labor leftists took to wearing T-shirts showing Albanese in cartoon combat pose, illustrating their man’s celebrated quote: “I just want to fight Tories. That’s what I do.”

But their T-shirt’s aggressive message was undermined by the fact that, at the time he spoke those words in a Canberra press conference, Albanese wasn’t shaping up to bash any Tories. Instead, he was crying. The poor bloke had been brought to tears by the continuing Rudd–Gillard conflict. Widdle Anthony hates it when mummy and daddy aren’t talking.

(Several years later, by the way, Albanese finally got to meet an actual Tory in the form of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. They happily posed for photographs. No punches were thrown.)
