The Lindsay Clancy effect

A mum allegedly hanged her two-year-old son she described as the “anti-Christ”, hours after discussing the Lindsay Clancy case with friends.

There's also a trend on tictok with mothers pretending to kill their kids in videos in support of this murderer. The women of the left have gone insane. I think we need to relabel the left as far left, just look at those here. Insanity seems catching. Depression is no excuse for murder.

WASHINGTON, DC — Citizens of the United States have proposed repealing the right for women to vote, but only for those women who vocally support child-murderer Lindsay Clancy.

A recent survey shows that while most Americans initially thought women voting was a good idea, the wave of public female support for serial child killer Lindsay Clancy has prompted many to feel that there ought to be some exceptions.

"Maybe we should have gone with 'Not-crazy-women's suffrage," said local man Tom Durden. "Don't get me wrong, I don't think women are inherently less able than men, or valuable, any of those things. I just don't think the people throwing up heart signs for toddler murder should be choosing our elected officials. Call me old-fashioned."

According the survey results, 94% of Americans agreed that women who support Lindsay Clancy should not be allowed to vote, run for office, or be anywhere near other human beings. "I'm a woman, but watching this unfold, I can admit it's time for some guardrails around the 19th Amendment," said local woman Clarissa Madsen. "Any chick who writes 'We are all Lindsay' on their Instagram account -- I'm sorry, but no ballot for you. Or sharp objects, or flames, or anything else."

I ventured into the subreddit dedicated to this case. I wanted to see how they were handling the prolonged deliberations.

I had to back away very slowly. Some of these people are on another level.

Later I noticed this case was trending on Twitter, and -- against my better judgment -- clicked around a bit. Some incels (is that what they're called now?) were saying that this jury proves why women should not have the right to vote.

Apparently, since the start of the Clancy trial, 6 or 7 men have murdered their families in the USA.  I feel so much of the anti-Clancy sentiment is rooted in good old-fashioned misogyny.

These are good times in the USA for bigots, bullies, and misopgynists.

Perhaps we just don't like murderers? Does insanity save men from being held account? It's not misogyny unless you think mothers should be allowed to kill their kids.

How many women? Did you look? I know of three since without even googling. Two who killed kids in sympathy with Clancy, one by hanging, one who slashed 2 of her kids throats, one survived, one who shot her son in the face so the father or his family could not have him.

edit: Personally I think everyone who kills their kids has a severe mental problem, that does not mean they should be free of the consequences or we should let all of them free.

The idea of people killing their own children is not new. Don't make it sound like Lindsay is having an impact on people, influencing them to commit infanticide.

There are no copycat killings of children. The parent(s) intended to kill a child without needing any motivation from other people.

Normal people don't like murderers; that is true. But those leading the charge against this woman are incels, and MAGA politicians. The case is in the courts. Why use it to advocate taking away the vote for women or use it to attack political oppenents?

Women are in the crosshairs in the US. You can see from the responses on here how easily that happened with the right provocation.

I hold a very dim view of anyone denying it.

Welcome, Murial. You are a breathe of fresh air.

And gotta say, love the reach. "the Lindsay Clancy Effect".

Translates as one woman killing her child sometime after being in discussion online on the subject of Lindsey.

I mean, as a woman, i'm loathe to call other people hysterical , but.
