RFK Jr policies cause first measles deaths

RFK Jr is a brain-damaged fruitcake and no one should be listening to any advice he gives regarding healthcare due to his obsession with easily disproven conspiracy theories - especially those regarding vaccines. Now, two people are dead from a disease that had been eradicated through a comprehensive vaccination program - until Trump was put back into the White House and he picked a halfwit who had worms literally eating his brain to be the top health official in the country. His advice and decisions are literally causing people to die. If this had happened during Biden's administration, the Republicans would be calling for his head.

Ironic, considering that is precisely what the Trump administration is doing - especially the misinformation!

He does, however, have a long history of spreading misinformation about vaccines and has used his position to alter vaccination policies that had been scientifically proven to be effective and safe. He fired the entire CDC Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), replacing them with a hand-picked panel that includes figures known for sharing unproven claims about vaccine safety. He instituted a policy whereby routine vaccines for rotavirus, influenza, hepatitis A, and hepatitis B are no longer universally recommended for all children. He has publicly relied on studies linking vaccines to autism to support his policies, despite those exact papers being retracted by medical journals due to severe methodological flaws. He has no business to be making decisions regarding healthcare for anyone.

And? is he a Doctor? A medical professional? So why would people listen to that?

BTW- Doctors and medical professionals have been known to be wrong. Thalidomide, prescriptions wrong etc.
