We can blame your Media for the rise of One Nation.
Poofs need Rednecks.

This is a real worry.

One Nation tipped to win by-election in safe Labor seat

'Construction worker Justin Small thinks One Nation is an obvious choice for a lot of people.'

A lot of people with racist views and poor education, sure.

'Secret Harbour voter and retired nurse Christine White thinks One Nation is “quite racist”.'

"Quite"?  She's being very generous there.

Well, we'll see how things go tomorrow but it's not looking good   Sad

Sean Black is not standing as a candidate for any electorate.
Instead, he has served behind the scenes as a political strategist and campaign director for Pauline Hanson's One Nation.

Rather than running for a seat himself, his role involved

:National Campaign Management:

Managing applications,
interviewing, vetting, and training prospective One Nation candidates.

Advisory Roles:

Working as a key strategist and media adviser for figures like Queensland Senator Malcolm Roberts.

His appointment as campaign director sparked internal party friction and external controversy due to his prior criminal conviction, leading Pauline Hanson to state that he was dismissed from his official role within the party organization.

He sounds perfect for One Nation.

'Sean Black has been sentenced to five years' jail for raping and assaulting his former wife, but his sentence will be suspended after two years and three months.

'Earlier this month Black was convicted of raping his former wife Tanya in a bathroom in 2007, pushing her down stairs and crushing her hand in a door.'

He'd do quite well in the Trump regime too.

Voters in Secret Harbour, an electorate in Perth's southern suburbs, will today choose which party will represent them in Western Australia's parliament.

The seat, long held by Labor, is also being hotly contested by One Nation, which has seen its popularity surge recently.

The by-election is seen as one of the biggest tests for Pauline Hanson's party which has been gaining ground due to frustration with the major parties.

__________________________________________

Secret Harbour is an outer southern suburb of the metropolitan area of Perth, the capital city of Western Australia, located within the City of Rockingham on the Indian Ocean coast at Warnbro Sound. Despite its name, Secret Harbour does not have a harbour. The name results from a failed marina development and was approved in 1984. Secret Harbour is home to Secret Harbour Golf Links, which will host the 2026 WA Open.

Yeah, I'm fed up with seeing and hearing about this by-election day in, day out.

As someone said in the paper last week - the pollies don't care about the people of Secret Harbour, all they care about is getting elected or holding on to power.

Having said that, although I am not a fan of Pauline Hanson and One Nation I really hope WA Labor get a swift kick up the rear end today because they deserve it. Or, at least a good 'scare'.

As someone else said in the paper last week, the political party that was forged by workers for workers (Labor) is now a mere shadow of itself. It now represents inner city, public service bureaucrats in well-to-do urban seats.

They seem to believe that all they need to do is turn up to win elections nowadays.

An interesting day lies ahead.

I don't care if Labor loses the seat.

I just hope it doesn't go to One Nation - we don't want them in this state.

If the Libs win, I'd be more than happy.

Heck, I'd even applaud the Sovereign Citizen candidate winning.

Anything, but One Nation.

You will be disappointed, the Libs haven't held the seat for a decade.

Secret Harbour is full of young families for whom housing and cost of living is paramount: both major parties are missing in action, while ON's anti-immigration policy directly addresses lack of housing supply.

[But ON - like the Libs - are economic rationalists who would let vital Oz industry close in the face of overseas competiton].

I'm disgusted with Labor for not admitting that privatization is a misake in many areas, including housing; a win for ON in WA might wake federal Labor up.

So if Labor don't retain the seat, I'll be cheering for ON.

Yep, I'm pretty sure you're right.

The Libs don't stand a chance and Labor doesn't deserve to win.

However, One Nation is the worst thing that has ever happened to politics in Australia and a win for them will be the beginning of the end.

I'm sure Pauline will be celebrating with her rapist friend tonight, along with her billionaire backer.

Sad, dangerous times ahead.
