Indeed - some really old deadwood there - and that is one of Labor's biggest problems. Some of these MPs have been hanging around in different portfolios for years - they need to go to the backbench or retire. I think Jason Clare might be the rabbit in the hat that Labor need. He is presentable, not too much bagagge and seems to have a good handle on things.

I think Albanese has gone well past his useby date though. The only thing that will keep him going is the fact that the Liberals are a bigger pile of excrement than Labor.
