Who's the 'we'? The ummah.
You are a pakistani, everyone knows that.
Alas, dear boy, everybody's a dirty Paki, isn't it.
You, we, the Danes, the lot. I'm not personally familiar with any Pakis - my rich multicultural's full of Curries, Sheikhs and Chows. A fair few Nepalis too by some force of nature. Cunning?
No. We get what we're given. Harold Holt got rid of racial discrimination in 1966. Gough chucked out what remained of the White Australia Policy in 1972. Immigration policy in our fine country has always been bipartisan - until Pauline started complaining, anyway.
That, you see, is just how our free-traders like it. Our businesses and universities choose who applies for work and study visas. The airlines decide the manner in which they come. We get no choice between the tinted races and hideous old Nazis like you.
And
that's just the way we like it. We're most open and accepting, you see. We tolerate you people. We might not agwee with what you have to say, but we'll fight to the death for your right to say it. We then get to vote - a luxury you're not quite ready for, old chap.
Sorry about that. So, if by chance Pauline becomes our next PM, boo hoo. Now, I don't think that's too likely to happen, but that's just me. Until then, yes - we're quite happy to play the Paki, but without the passport, obviously. You can keep playing a Danish NESBer, Greggery a Slovenian Tjurd, JS a Calabrian Dago, and on and on.
That's the beauty, don't you see? Unlike you, we like Oz. You flew here, we
belong here.
Rich multicultural tapestry, innit.
Silly paki grimacing and gobbin' on a stick. As per.
Discrimination is what we do every minute of our lives. It's telling the difference between things. 'Non-discrimination' - being blind to difference - is inviting evil and calamity into your life.
We must have - do have - cultural discrimination. This should be part of immigration policy, too.
The Danish engineer with a professional wife and five bonny kids who fit in is preferable to a Paki engineer with three niqabi wives and five children, two of whom are birth defective due to cousin marriage.
No. It's about culture. But you eejits hide behind 'wace'.
