AFL Haircuts

AFL is a crap sport, but I've watched a bit lately as I've been spending some time with a friend who loves it.

My question is, WTF is it with the players' haircuts - did they all lose a bet or something?

Modern AFL haircuts have become an absolute circus of bleached blonde mops, chaotic mullets, and aggressive skin fades. Half the players look like they lost a backyard bet, while the other half are rocking streamlined "business-at-the-front" statements that make the entire league look like a runway for confused trendsetters.

Actually, I believe you will find that "K" (aka Paki gob on a stick) is doing that deliberately to poke fun at aquascoot who spells it like that all the time despite having the error pointed out to him numerous times.

He always blames his phone, of course.

But, yes - AFL haircuts are definitely redeculous! Grin

I genuinely thought it was some sort of dare, or maybe raising money for charity or something.

Seeing who could get the most ridiculous cut, but my friend tells me that's just how they like having their hair cut.

I see Harley Reid at my local coffee shop quite often, and his haircut is often 'interesting'.

But that Jake Waterman guy has a head that only a mother could love.
