There are at least 5 victims of sexual abuse by Jones that we know of.

The first of the 5 victims in this case ... victim "J" has absolutely no interest in getting any money from this action.
He is taking action because of the wrongdoing that took place and as an example to his child that wrongdoing should be called out.

As we know, it can take decades for sexual abuse victims to finally get to the point of seeking justice.

I haven’t been following it but did notice in a news clip when he was attending court he had suddenly aged dramatically and was struggling to walk.

I doubt that will get him off but the judge won’t send him to goal in his sudden “ health crisis “.

It’s a ploy that has seen several avoid goal in the past.

I have no idea if he’s guilty or not.

Never listened to his show. He was too much of a “ nutter mouth “ for my taste.

When I attended Brisbane Grammar School in 1969 as a boarder, Alan Jones was a teacher & Rugby coach.

He coached the 4th Form (grade 10) A side rugby team & was a boarding house Master for 4th formers dormitory as well.

In the short time I was there & the many years after with the Old Boys Association contacts I had never heard a story of him interfering with boys.

In 2015 allegations came out about a BGS Counsellor Kevin John Lynch had abused boys there in the 1970's.

He later topped himself in 1997 after being accused of doing that at St. Pauls Anglican where he went after BGS.

In hind sight I think the old sadistic dorm Master
(he loved canning boys across a bare backside) on my 2nd form dorm & the 6th form senior in the dorm room were gay.

I always get a laugh watching him pretend how feeble he is when walking into and out of court.

He retired with his new bumboy in Coolangatta to a penthouse unit.

Sadly the basement was flooded during heavy rains ( as we get) and building built so woefully ( normal Gold Coast) that the basement flooded and took the lift out of action forcing old AL and young bumboy too use the stairs for months!

He certainly wasn’t crippled then nor I suspect now.

Thought facing court and goal time does seem to exacerbate illnesses in old actors?
