Strictly controlled
Jul 31st, 2026 at 8:01pm

These reproductions of circa 1640s Matchlock muzzle loading muskets are strictly controlled in NSW.
They are in the same category as the magazine fed repeating rifles of WW II, It appears that Minns is afraid that they would be used by terrorists.
Their rate of fire, about one shot per two minutes [if it’s not raining] has naturally frightened the Premier and reproductions of the muskets used by the soldiers and settlers of the First Fleet around 1788 are also in the higher category of licensencing.

Ho Chi Minns is also apparently frightened of replicas of the 1860 Henry repeating rifle falling into the hands of terrorists, this piece of 166 years old technology must be truly frightening as it uses self contained ammunition, not like those slow firing 17th Century muskets which already have him in a tizz.

Meanwhile in France, where they have a high risk of terrorism, particularly from Muslims [just going on the record] guns that are strictly controlled in Australia are allowed to be purchased and used by anyone over the age of 18 without restriction [other than carrying loaded in a public place].
So why do the restrictions have to be so much harder here?
Apparently the French find the thought of terrorists arming themselves with mid 19th Century guns against State forces armed with modern automatic firearms rather ludicrous.

Typical Labor morons - instead of dealing with the elephant in the room they go off targetting everything else.

Please ignore my reference to Ho Chi Minns,
this is a gratuitous insult to the people of Vietnam for which I apologise.

Indeed. After seeing the absolute disaster it was for “Sniper Vest” Howard and the LNP after Martin Bryant in Tassie, you would have thought they would have gone down the obvious route.

The new word on other forums is “Minge’’.

When a people are under attack one of of the first things that a real leader does is to teach them to defend themselves and to provide them with the means of doing so.

Apparently Minge and Albosleasy have a different agenda, disarm the law abiding, which makes sense if they are inherently anti-Australian.

From a post on AHN,

‘’ Well one of them wasn't [licensed]
.that in itself is unlawful criminal activity to the highest of orders...

The other was licnsed as per the implied restrictions of the actual license, which did NOT allow a him to join & enable a non-licensed shooter to slaughter innocent people in public with his registered firearms...that by its very virtue automatically breeches the scope of any "legal licensing" stipulations....and having said that, has it been established if the shotguns used were legal in their own right.??
They looked to me like they had tube mag extnsions beyond the capacity allowed for his categpory of licensing...which makes them illegal firearms, used by people NOT LICENSED to use them...

Dont be sucked into being in agreeance with media & Govt suggestions these were "licensed firearms"...licensing goes beyond that which your little card tells you that ypou are licensed for...licensing extends to keeping within the scope of what the license allows, by both wrtitten legislation, & also by expected & implied virtue, of which all were broken by these Govt enabled terrorist murderers.

So by the very nature & context of this situation, that video is entirely correct...they were NOT licensed to do ANY of what theey did, from murdering innocnt people, to using any firearm to do it... Shockednya:

And yes, AI generated stuff is becoming so common, the future of history as we know it, looks very bleak.’’

The Law according to Minge,
‘’ Punish the law abiding for Government assistance to the lawless’’.

Why apologise? I thought it clever & apt.

Afterall he does belong to a socialist party, some members even being communists.

And he & his Govt, the NSW Police Weapons Licensing Branch & ASIO are part of the failed response to potential Islamic terrorist threats 1. by inter agency failures to communicate on people on watch lists 2. by allowing a person of interest on their watch list to obtain a weapons license in July 2023 - 3 months before the Oct 7th massacre by Hamas in Israel.

3. Then in December 2025 Sajid Akram & his unlicensed son - who was living in his house where the weapons(illegal weapons too) were stored carried out the Bondi massacre.

4. Minns was part of the knee jerk reaction by the Federal Labor Govt to make law abiding Australians a target for blame & increasing gun law restrictions & wanting to waste money on another gun by back scheme.

I could go on but you know what I mean.  Grin

Just a politer way to call him a TNUC.

Which they both are - but they are Dead TNUCs

because TNUCs are useful.

From a post on AHN which says it all,

‘’Australia is a very safe country when it comes to firearms. I am a range officer for one of the nations largest shooting associations and have witnessed nothing but good hearted, safety orientated people enjoying their sport and likewise in hunting situations.

Excessive, or any further gun reform for that matter will not improve the safety of Australians. This would simply restrict hunters, sports shooters and farmers from carrying out their activities in the safe manner they always do and create unnecessary expenses to the taxpayer for a scheme with no benefit and further burden to regulators and police.

In the case of Bondi, there was a very clear oversight where one person was on an federal watch list, and their close family member, who had issues in obtaining firearms and security licences, was still able to possess firearms which ultimately led to the tragic event against the Jewish community.
Better collaboration between ASIO, NSW Police, and other relevant government departments would have led to an early intervention and stopped the event from unfolding at all.

The only way firearms controls should be strengthened is through thorough information sharing and cooperation between government departments to better utilise our already strict firearms laws, and also by means of educating the broader public. Part of community safety is feeling secure, and by having an understanding on our current laws, the requirements of our law abiding firearms owners, and the measures that are taken to ensure that only 'fit and proper persons' possess firearms, the community can be rest assured that they are surrounded by some of the most trustworthy people in our society, the licensed firearm owner.

Trust and confidence in our current firearms rules can be gained by simply looking at the statistics. Violence is occurring every day, most of what we see is knife, hand-to-hand and even vehicular related. Where knives are related, a good example are the machete bans. Although they are now outlawed in Victoria, there are still assaults occurring using machetes or other bladed weapons. Bad people are going to do the wrong thing and care not for laws and rules. By creating more, or stricter laws, the people punished are the already law abiding firearm owners, being;

-The sport shooters who love spending their time outdoors, the meditation that comes from time spent at the reloading bench, and the social/competitive aspect.

-The hunters that help to protect out native flora and fauna, and also put food on their own table all the while pumping large amounts of money into hundreds, if not thousands, of local economies.

-The farmers who are trying to protect their livelihoods and local environments from pests, diseases and introduced species.’’
