Maybe he can make a donation to Trump and he'll get a pardon, like all of the other criminals?
Now now, Armchair, as Panther always reminds us, the prez has the full power to pardon.
He's our constitutional expert, you know. Can a prez be charged with a crime? We asked.
No, he said, you have to impeach them first.
I see, we said, so can a prez be impeached for a crime?
No, you have to prosecute them in the courts. It's a little bit tricky.
Okay, we said, so once they're impeached, indicted, convicted and prosecuted...
I'm sorry, Panther said, I'll have to stop you there. That's LAWFARE.
Oh, we said. So what's the constitutional remedy for that?
If a prez has been lawfared, he can appoint his lawyer AG, collect $280 mil from the DOJ, sue them for damages, order them to settle and collect $1.8 bil for a "victim's fund" and an agreement with the IRS to never look at his tax declarations ever again.
I see, we said. So if a judge rules it all illegal?
Appeal to SCOTUS and have them overturn it. Problem solved.
As you can see, Panther's a real stickler for the rules.
DRAIN THE SWAMP !!!
