Coming to think of it, 10 years ago when we went to CA we did the a Disneyland thing. Went to Tomorrow World, very Star Wars themed. Entered an enclosed area, like a flying space craft, strapped in, then the screen opens in front and seated at the controls C-3PO spoke to us before he took us on a journey.
There was a cinematic screen and suddenly we took off in space. The seats moved accordingly.
I loved it!

There was a short story back in 1960s written by Italian sf writer Lino Aldani where he described virtual reality entertainment like this 5D but more advanced. It was called “Good Night, Sophie”.
It is like mini "Brave New World" but instead of Soma there was "Oneirofilm".

I heard of one cinema that when a victim was on screen being strangled by a murderer
that a cinema employee would come up behind you - and start strangling you too.
How's that for a bit of 5D reality? Grin

Well worth the money and time as it narrated the role Malta played in the war. You can google Malta 5D.
