Few years ago I was shopping in Aldi when they lost electricity.
I had cash but they wouldn't take it because it could not be processed.
Abacus would be a go but there aren't many people who know how to use it these days.
What happened to pen and paper and a draw to put the cash into?
It wasn't designed into system as backup.
Fragile technology as our
golden calf:
While Moses was on Mount Sinai receiving the Ten Commandments,
the impatient Israelites convinced Aaron to build a physical idol.
Aaron collected their gold jewelry, melted it into a golden calf, and the people worshiped it.
Enraged, Moses shattered the stone tablets, destroyed the idol,
and pleaded with God to spare the sinful nation.
The golden calf still stands!
All the ends of Earth warship his power.
From one end of the world to the other end!
To celebrate the infamous idol,
Money-mad mortals dance a wild jig around his peddestal
And Satan leads the dance.
The golden calf has vanquished the gods
In its absurde glory, The abject monster insults heaven!
He sees human race at his feet, plunging into blood and mire.
Where the fiery metal,gleams.
And Satan leads the dance.
Kings and people mixed together,
Hurling itself about, iron in hand,
In blood and in the mire,
Where the fiery metal,gleams.
And Satan leads the dance.
