The recession Australia didn’t have to suffer

https://www.smh.com.au/politics/federal/worst-since-the-1990s-recession-alarm-ov...

“ Working Australians are enduring one of the steepest falls in real wages in the developed world, with new research revealing households are struggling under “persistent pressures” that are likely to continue well into next year and beyond.
As one of the nation’s top economic forecasters predicted the domestic economy is facing its longest stretch of sub-par growth since the early 1990s recession, the OECD’s annual look at the global jobs market noted that Australians’ real wages had fallen by 5 per cent since early 2021”

How did such a rich country become so poor and turning into a 3rd world country so quickly?

If you see a politician in public feel free to spit on them.

“For too long, strong population growth has masked a weak underlying productivity performance and lifted aggregate growth while doing less to improve living standards,” he said.

This is why both the coalition and labor have had open door immigration ... to screw the population.

"Over the past five years, the average dwelling price has climbed by 45 per cent, or almost $333,000. That includes increases of 32 per cent in NSW, 14 per cent in Victoria, 89 per cent in Queensland and 90 per cent in Western Australia."

The bonus ... the global economy is it's on the precipice of a crash worse than 1929. LibLab politicians will be able to pretend it's not their fault.

The libs will likely cease to exist at the next election.

Labor will do what it does best, deflect.

I must congratulate Albo and staff for setting up the outrageous podcast last week.

It’s drawn everyone energy away from the real issues facing Australia.

Well done.

I’m sure the small business owners who just closed, there staff out of work and the homeless being moved on from the camp to the next camp are amused.

At least Albos footy just scored a record billion dollar deal.

All tax free, fu.Ck me😢

** approaching thunder returning - can ye hear it?**

Labor - the Party that knows the price of everything but not the value of anything .....

Look at the tourist potential for that island in Sydney Harbour - the one they haven't handed over to the outsider Abos, mind you - and think of the tourist value of Victoria Barracks... and the old court houses etc.... beatufiul heritage buildings wrought by hard labour in many cases...

Do you know that in Newcastle, the old sandstone Victorian era Post Office was handed over to Abos?  Must be a historical site, eh?  What could be the justification for that?

"Me grampa picked up his dole cheques there when ye was paid in cheques"...

...  that would be the go.... FFS ...  what do they do with it?  Doss down under the verandahs or something?

Get A Grip, Australia!!  Yer falcon history is being stolen out from under you as you sleep...
