Tax return done. Lodged it just now. Cool

I ignore the tax office advice to wait for the prefill ... I have all the details ready to go on day one of July every year. I have never had an error.

They email every year asking if I want to leave it all to them (I usually only have dividend franking credits to receive back.) Some years I have capital gains to fill in.

I enjoy doing the return early - if only to piss them off! Grin

Fire the LIAR in 2028!

I sat around so long this last financial year that when I did do a clean up of the place, I was looking at invoices and informational pamphlets from early last year. Again, I will need to clean the house up again to find out what tax deductions I can claim.

Last year's tax return was quite good. I need a bit of a buffer in my bank account.

At this stage...
