The only problem I see is those who cant tell the difference between the Southern European archaic Westernism and the Western European modernising Westernism that created the Commonwealth of Nations.

One day, Australia must face up to big scary Archaic Westernism USA and say "NO!"  Angry

If Cicilia has a point to show history - it is that popular movements are far too often taken over by the very forces they seek to bring to equality.. remember what I told you about the Mafia and its beginnings... then look at - for example - the 'party of the people' here and now.

All the things they once railed against they now are in total... the elitists, the supremacists, the dictating fascists, the money grubbers, the control freaks, the reverse of that coin being terrified little men and women, the designers of strait jackets of real oppression for the many to suit ideology, the 'realpolitik' adherents wherein any end justifies every means at whim, the 'intellectual nazis', those developing neo-Feudalism to suit themselves   ... you name it.

Labor after they threw U out of it...

The DANGER in this ....... is that certain political parties and movements are doing the very same – posting stuff daily to trigger responses (just like this article right here) – so that they can exploit the same INCOME generated from 'leads' handed to Facebook!!!

Just look at the trajectory of 22-year-old activist Calla Walsh. In just a few short years, she has gone from earnest high-school Democrat, volunteering for Massachusetts establishment politicians Elizabeth Warren and Ed Markey, to Democratic Socialist of America organiser to… talking head for the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Wait, what? That escalated quickly.

Last week, Ms Walsh was in Iran for the days-long state funeral of the Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Speaking to Iranian state media ahead of the funeral, she called the deceased despot the ‘greatest anti-imperialist leader’ of her lifetime. ‘He was a leader to all people of the world who struggle against imperialism, arrogance, against Zionism, against genocide’, she told Press TV.

Walsh has certainly been on a journey. She grew up in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The daughter of a Boston University English professor and a Harvard writing teacher, she enjoyed a super-privileged upbringing, complete with an education at two elite Boston preparatory schools.

Her background has certainly not bred any great love of America. Today, she jets between her home in Beirut and Tehran, giving rabidly anti-Western hot takes to Iranian state media and chanting Death to America in Farsi. And she does all this while wearing the mandatory headscarf.

"It's the economy, stupid".

The "West" was fine after WW2 when Keynesian 'welfare state' economics ensured a job and housing for everyone.

But Thatcher and Reagan-induced Neoclassical orthodoxy, concurrent with the rise of Asia, wrecked the Western economies.

Now even China is slowing down.....so much for "communism".....

Time to revive Keynesian deficit spending , or better yet, government funding via free fiat money issuance (to fund government), with inflation avoided by balancing supply and demand for resources (not money) in the macroeconmy.

You're just a cracked record of waffling bullshyte.

Softening us up by dividing the nation even more - before invading?  Or at the very least trying to pervert this country into some Islamic republic or something?

This country has never been more divided than right now - and our government is actively promoting this...

I'll have to look into this.

"A surge of polarizing Facebook groups and anti-immigrant or anti-Muslim rage-baiting in Australia has been traced to Indonesian "buzzers"—organized digital laborers and paid election influencers operating an underground, hidden influence industry. The Indonesian "Buzzer" PhenomenonThe Operators: Research highlighted by experts like Australian National University (ANU) disinformation researcher Ross Tapsell reveals that large Facebook pages supporting Australian political figures (such as Pauline Hanson’s One Nation) are managed entirely by administrators based in Indonesia. The Method: "Buzzers" are digital workers typically hired for financial gain to artificially turbocharge online engagement, inflate follower metrics, and push specific divisive narratives into Western social media feeds. The Content: These accounts frequently post inflammatory or contradictory material—such as anti-Muslim rhetoric or strict anti-immigration stances—using fabricated personas (e.g., profile pictures of local women in hijabs) designed specifically to provoke outraged comments and maximize algorithmic distribution.

Political Influence Operations: Experts note this marks a notable instance where commercial or politically motivated Indonesian click-farms and influence-for-hire networks have bled into domestic Australian political discourse.Monetization and Engagement Farming: Beyond direct political contracting, many of these foreign accounts use provocative, stolen, or AI-generated rage-bait to game platform algorithms, increase visibility, and cash in on the "outage economy" or prepare accounts for resale."

Thus spoke AIthustra...

The questions we need to be asking ourselves is WHY - apart from the clear monetary gain I've laid out from Facebook to create meta data in order to provide marketing opportunities etc.... remember what I posted about Trump's election - now - let me be clear - personally I see Trump as someone who is doing things... he has quirks, but he has a handle on the ropes... so my position is not from any opposition to Trump at this time....  what I refer to is the amazing access to data on individuals - something that can be perverted to any use at all.

Having responded to Facebook things - I have received advertising clearly targeting me by actual age etc... T-shirts and hoodies I can buy for my daughter or grand-daughters that even say the month I was born... "My dad is a Gemini born in June - he has anger management problems - etc."

All this is instantly available to ANYONE who claims to be a business wanting to advertise.... and is clearly instantly available to anyone who wishes to gain all that data on a vast number of people- for ANY purpose, Morbeus......

How many times must I warn about these things... this IS relevant.

P.S. to below:-

I'm currently reading Chapman Pincher's 'Treachery' - about M.I.5 and its clear failures over sixty years - principally over the 'atom spies' etc .... you know the ones - and including its abject failure to identify the Infamous Four.... Philby, Burgess, Maclean and Blunt - not to mention Red Sonia recently lauded in a film starring Dame Judi Dench .... and even though I have written to the security service about this issue of AI being a clear and present danger in its ability to accumulate vast arrays of data on countless individuals.... they seem to be as asleep at the wheel as M.I.5 were over many things....  either that or they plan to benefit from this data themselves....

The lady internet etc commissioner will not have any balls to begin to deal with all this data accumulation.... no funding, just a nice little earner for doing not much... and even less motivation to rock the boat.

Makes ME wonder if those in charge up there are actually for Australia etc.... or are just lackeys of the government in place - bad as it is - or even some foreign entity ... or they have someone in place who is sabotaging things.... another 'Elli' ... with this government today, I would be suspicious of their captain's call for head .... who guarded that guard while that guard was appointed to guard you?

When I was interviewed ... there was one other person there... he was young and ethnic kind of... I can see the values.... young ethnos can have some 'inside' understanding of specific cultures .... but are also a security risk.... something proven time and again in public service... and they don't want old bastards these days... they may know too much and may rock some boats...

Once the veil is drawn aside and the murk within revealed - anything is possible... eyes open, people ...

Islamism has exploited our culture of political confusion

When Pauline Hanson told the National Press Club in June that Australia “cannot be a multicultural society. We must be monocultural. Australians must live under the one cultural umbrella”, she sparked a political bushfire.

Anthony Albanese answered emphatically: “Modern Australia is not a monoculture, and it never has been … It’s really a nonsense argument to go back to (a monoculture) that was actually never there.” He offered the Socceroos – a 26-man World Cup squad from 15 cultural backgrounds – as proof of Australia’s “rich culture”.

But Hanson reached for the same example to prove the opposite: “When we actually go to the Olympics, we represent our nation, like the Socceroos. It’s all under one flag.”

Meanwhile, the Coalition was at sixes and sevens. Angus Taylor said he did not know what “monoculture” meant, then called it “vague” and conceded he believed in “a version of multiculturalism”.

Nationals leader Matt Canavan admitted he had never heard the word “monoculturalism” before Hanson used it, and reached instead for “a common culture that unites us all”.

Liberal MP Garth Hamilton denounced monoculturalism outright: “I celebrate the cultural divide of my Irish Catholic side as much as my Scottish Protestant side. I will not deny either.”

Yet none of the warring parties paused to define the word on which the whole argument depended: culture. That matters because every position in the dispute shares one buried assumption: that culture is a fixed object – something a society can possess in the singular or plural, count, add or subtract.

Hanson wants one cultural object for everybody. Albanese counts 15 on a football roster and calls the result “rich”. Hamilton finds two within his own inheritance and celebrates them both. Taylor and Canavan cannot say what kind of object they mean at all, which is at least honest.

Nobody in this argument is wrong to think culture matters. But everybody is wrong about what culture is.

The correction is embedded in the word itself. “Culture” descends from the Latin colere – to cultivate – and Hannah Arendt pointed out that cultivation was traditionally understood as the opposite of “fabrication”. A carpenter fabricates a table according to a fixed design. A farmer cultivates a field in accordance with its capacity to grow, and the process is never complete. What is cultivated grows; it is not manufactured.

Yet political argument has increasingly made “culture” mean almost the reverse: a thing, complete on arrival, to be protected beneath a single umbrella or arranged, item by item, in an ever-expanding exhibition – in the Prime Minister’s image, tallied on a roster. Each is a picture of fabrication masquerading as cultivation.

That is what makes the Socceroos such a good example – just not for the reason either side supposes. The team does not vindicate Hanson’s umbrella, clamped over everyone regardless of what lies beneath it; still less does it vindicate Albanese’s tally of 15 backgrounds. A roster is merely a list until its members train together, submit to common rules and disciplines, and, without losing their individuality, unite around a shared goal. Only then does co-operation become second nature.

The roster can be assembled; the team must be cultivated. Nor is the result ever final. Without ceasing to be that team, the team changes as it encounters new opponents and as new members learn to work and strive together respecting the rules they have inherited.

Tocqueville, asking what sustained American self-government, found the same pattern at the level of an entire nation. It rested not on a possession but on “the whole moral and intellectual state of a people”: its “habits of the heart”, absorbed rather than proclaimed. Ludwig Wittgenstein, asking what makes shared understanding possible at all, called it a form of life – the “bedrock” guiding the flow of a people’s myriad purposes, yet one that slowly but incessantly shifts, like a riverbed beneath the current.

The nearest word for the process by which such a bedrock takes shape among people who did not all inherit it is neither monoculturalism nor multiculturalism. It is acculturation: the reciprocal adjustment of habits and expectations that sustains a cohesive, diverse society.

That process, rather than any official doctrine, is what built modern Australia. The English, Scots and Irish, and later successive waves of migrants, did not automatically become a people who could plausibly say “we”. The achievement was partly the spontaneous result of mixing. But it was also deliberate: equal rights were extended and enforced, common institutions built and defended, a shared national story taught and sectarian provocations contained. It demanded hard, reciprocal work, and it succeeded.

Yet the present debate has ceased even to acknowledge that work, for two equally damaging reasons.

The first is a multiculturalism that measures its success as the Prime Minister measured the Socceroos – by the length of the list – while quietly abandoning the older expectation that a shared civic life must be cultivated and sustained, not merely tallied.

The second is an intellectually incoherent cultural relativism. If stoning adulterers and amputating thieves’ hands are barbaric, then a culture that has abandoned those practices is, in that respect, better than one that retains them. To deny even that turns humility in judging other cultures into a prohibition on moral judgment – and therefore on moral progress, which necessarily implies that some ways of life are preferable to those they supersede.

Relativism exacts a further, even steeper, cost. Reflecting on French society, Lucien Febvre observed that successful acculturation requires a “complicity of sentiment” – an aspiration by newcomers to belong. But a society trained to claim no more for its own way of life than that it is one option among equally valid others has little with which to attract that aspiration. It can still compel obedience to its laws. It cannot credibly ask to be joined. And now that the “tyranny of distance” no longer forces newcomers to adapt, joining must be chosen – and choice requires compelling reasons.

Yet instead of providing those reasons, multiculturalism has supplied powerful incentives to remain apart: subsidising organisations devoted to preserving separateness and then hailing its persistence as evidence of the policy’s success. The result is utterly predictable: the roster Albanese glorifies masquerading as a team, increasingly at war with itself.

That is the ground on which Islamism has become entrenched: present in Australia’s largest cities in the census sense, but resident in Beirut in every sense that matters, and organised around social norms that reject acculturation as a matter of principle. It is a way of life deliberately constructed to keep its adherents at odds with the wider society while drawing on that society’s welfare state.

Our aim, in the end, should be not stifling uniformity but social cohesion, secured by effectively preventing the importation or perpetuation of ancient hatreds and forging common bonds strong enough to sustain diversity. Achieving that requires an exit from the mono/multi argument, not a new position within it: a return to vigorously promoting, rather than undermining, acculturation and the civic habits that once turned arrivals from everywhere into a nation. Culture was never something Australia could own or count. It has always been, and remains, something Australians have to do.

Liberal White Women Stand Weeping Outside Court Trying Jack The Ripper

...

LONDON — Dozens of liberal white women gathered outside a local courthouse, weeping and holding signs of support for serial killer Jack the Ripper.

With their hands held up into the shape of hearts, the women decried the injustice of imprisoning a man who was so clearly the victim of a flawed system.

"Justice for Jack!" cried the women, waving signs of encouragement. "He was clearly begging for help when he murdered those 11 prostitutes. But no one heard him, and no one cared. Now, think of how much Jack is suffering! That's why we are here today, so that he knows we care. It could have been any one of us that didn't get the help we needed and so went on a killing spree across East London."

Several of the liberal white women present expressed terror that they too could so easily end up on trial for merely slashing a dozen prostitutes to death. "I just relate so much to Jack the Ripper," said one woman, Regina Kensington. "Like, I see the mangled bodies he left and think — wow, I'm just the same as him. That's why we are here cheering him on. Oh, I do hope he's still single."

At publishing time, Jack the Ripper had thanked the crowd of women for coming to support him and asked if any of them would like to meet up around midnight in a secluded spot in Whitechapel.

"A few weeks ago, we all watched the same footage. A young man called Henry Nowak, barely out of childhood, handcuffed on the ground, begging the police for help. What followed was the confusion of our commentators as they struggled to explain how young police officers, sworn to protect the public, could behave in such a way. No one seemed to have a convincing answer. But when you spend a lifetime in schools, it’s pretty clear what’s going on.

Those young police officers are not a special case – they’re collateral damage. And the pattern runs further afield than policing. Last September, Charlie Kirk was shot, and within hours young people were celebrating all over the internet, despite the fact that two little children would have to grow up without their father. Many of us looked on in disbelief.

What has happened to the moral core of our young people? Something has changed – profoundly – in how our young people see the world. Those police officers were not evil. They were not incompetent. They were terrified. Terrified of being seen as racist.

Katharine Birbalsingh  @Miss_Snuffy
White people are terrified of being seen as racist.

If white guilt permeates the online world and our schools, then our adults will feel guilty too.

This helps neither whites nor ethnics.  My ARC speech:
