Hating you for your vote

If you vote for any party, person or don't vote someone is going to hate you.

We used to for for the person/party that you thought would be best, now we vote to minimize the abuse we will receive even though most will vote and then lie about who they voted for.

I seriously doubt that this is true.

I doubt that anyone votes to minimise their abuse, it isn't even considered in my opinion.

If you vote to minimise abuse and then lie about it isn't that maximising the abuse when you didn't even vote for them whoever that mivht be ?

If you are going to be abused no matter how you vote why change you vote to to be abused by the other side to who would have abused you anyway ? Makes no sense at all to me ?

Besides not many people discuss their vote anyway ? I don't think I have ever doen that ? (Except here where abuse comes for any reason especially if you are right - Correct not a pun on political right but that is also true).

Its seems to play out in the polls, what the polls say and what the vote count say are getting further and further apart.
