I’m at work but we will reply asap.

It’s a great point you make and I want to make an effort to answer your question quickly.

No I don’t want to live or be a citizen in a monoculture.

Everything about living in one I believe is boring and stagnant.
I enjoy living with people from all sides of life and don’t forget how welcoming people in other cultures were to me when I lived in their lands.

This may sound obtuse. But I really love the food aspect of multicultural environments.

I love that I have the choice of several different cultures dishes available in my local neighbourhood!

A honest question deserves a honest reply 😉

“There are at least 50 other Muslim nations for the fundamentalists to choose from.

Like so many others, you misunderstand monoculture.

Western civilisation is the ONLY universal civilisation. It is singular precisely in that it is not tied to ethnicity, race, factional creed.

It foregrounds only reason, personal worth, effort, discourse and adjustment in the light of cooperation, compromise, accommodation of reasonable differences. No other civilisation does that.
