Cook books.
Jun 14th, 2026 at 6:58pm

I’m so into them! Have a fine collection of printed cook books since 50 years ago.
I love the 1970s cook books. Great old fashioned warm looking meals. I still have my collection of 1970s stoneware plates that just keep well, the type that are now very fashionably vintage and sought after.

Back to books, I was in op shop other day and saw this book that looked like a student text book.
It had instructions for patisserie of all sorts, I have never really been into it much, but since I tasted it in Paris and how amazing it was, I’m going to perfect making some.

But, this book was $2 and online second hand is $100  Shocked
Wow I’m so pleased I bought it, as it had no colour photos, just drawings to illustrate instructions. Probably why no one else bought it before me.
