Anthropic to disable its most advanced AI models after US order limiting foreign access

So Australians are to pay higher electricity and water costs, coping more and more brown/black outs, while suffering massive heat traps from these American data centres, while being denied access to the Ai they help create.

Has the Albanese Labor government failed the country yet again ?

Say No to Australia being an Ai permanently underclass. Ban American Data centres while moving to a decentralised model, where no one can stops Australians Ai access.

By George! Some of you are beginning to get it!!

Australians have always been in a 'classed' society' - and nobody exploits that more than Albo and his 'socialist' henchpersons - you all know that people are arbitrarily grouped - classed like cattle - via suburb, education, colour of skin, cash at hand, property ownership or otherwise, choice of lifestyle...

Been that way since the advent of Civilisation in 1788 ... cops and robbers .. and persists to this day - those with any 'power' deem themselves to be above all others and to have Feudal rights over them... no wonder the country is in such a ruinous state.

I expect no better in reality from a Hanson government - but many see that as the only hope for any real change... personally I say we need a new party a new way and a new style of governance... as far away from the old Feudal ways as possible...

Jeez - reading on the Sydney Harbour Aborigines yesterday - one thing struck me about the discussion of 'Invasion' - some 600 sick and starving people - their numbers reduced by illness and ... EXECUTIONS (gives you an idea, eh?) apparently conquered the whole nation while being totally unable to even find a headman to even discuss things with - no such government among the Aborigines then!!!

EXECUTIONS - remember that miniature Hobart in Tasmania? One part was a gallows and a line of prisoners waiting their turn ... talk about a classed society...

And where are these data centres located? 10 km's? In cities, well outside cities in the countryside, where?

Oh spikes can be measured up to 10km's. But mostly it is about 2C. Fear mongering lives. Grin

The standard, balanced equation for the complete combustion of methane is: CH4 + 2O2 → CO2 + 2H2O You're welcome.

Who said anything about methane combustion? That is the way methane devolves in the atmosphere.

But you are right the equation is unbalanced -

And still nothing to do with the spectrum associated with AGW. That is purely the task of Physics. Wink
