This surely is not legal nor constitutional. How can the acting Attorney General sign an order that says Trump, his sons and companies cannot ever be investigated or prosecuted by the IRS? How can any American citizen be given an order that says they are immune from IRS prosecution? How can the IRS be allowed to reach a settlement when Trump is both the defendant and effectively the plaintiff as the head of the executive branch. That can't be legal because there has to be a genuine dispute with a genuine defendant and plaintiff.

I hope that when the Dems take back the White House in 2028, they immediately make this illegal order null and void, as they should.

Do you think it's OK for all the dems that recieved immunity from prosecution for all the crimes they committed in the last ten years.

The pardons were designed to protect Adam Schiff, Liz Cheney and Dr. Anthony Fauci from potential politically motivated investigations and retribution under the incoming administration of Donald Trump. President Biden stated that these individuals were public servants who did not deserve to be targets of unjustified prosecution.

That's unlike Trump giving pardons to people actually convicted of crimes, like George Santos or the former President of Honduras, who helped drug cartels smuggle tons of drugs into America, or the thousands of criminals who stormed the Capitol on January 6 - some of whom are now back behind bars for other crimes. So yeah, you've got nothing. As usual.
