Here's the full interview - even more deranged and unhinged if that's possible.
Unbelievable.
He's completely lost the plot.
JD needs to get off the couch and invoke the 25th Amendment.
Oh? Did you catch JD sucking up at their last cabinet meeting?
DL's staged it so the cameras only get to capture the back of JD's head. DL always waits for JD's turn to catch a few Zs.
So no, Greggery, I doubt JD's in a position to invoke the 25th. He's more like one of those contestants on the Apprentice who have to wheel their suitcases into the Boardroom to face the music each week.
True, JD might not be fireable, but the big fella still gets his say over the final cut. He also sets up the rivalries, pitting contestants like Pam against Todd and JD against little Marco. He likes setting up the fall guys too - Pete, Kash, Kristi.
Obviously, these three are so out of their depth, they were only ever put there to get fired. Okay, he might keep Pete because he's Central Casting. Just as he's likely to keep RFK Jnr because he's a Kennedy.
Suzie was set up to be fired too, but she made herself indispensable by learning how to get things done. That's the thing with DL's cabinet - no one really bothers to learn how Washington works, and why would they?
All they have to do is turn up, work with the staff Project 2025 gave them, hang a banner of DL down the side of their buildings and do what they're told.
Doing what they're told is pretty easy too. Most of them aren't told anything. Many have taken to working from home or sneaking off in departmental jets for long weekends. Suzie only intervenes if they get bad press.
If they ever get fired, they only find out from the fake news. Kash panics every time he gets logged out of his FBI computer. DL only ever talks to those on his call list, never to his cabinet.
Fortunately, he televises all his cabinet meetings, so we get to see the inner workings of the Trump administration in real time. You might be forgiven for thinking those obsequious speeches they give in the cabinet room once a month are just a prelude to the real meeting, but no - that's it.
Lights, cameras, sound-check, say something nice about DL, a couple of questions from Fox and meeting adjourned. If they ever hear from DL, it's posted on Truth Social for all the world to see. Pam found this out when she got her lawfare assignment. She found out she'd been fired on Truth Social too.
Apart from the odd state visit or Republican rally, that monthly cabinet meeting is pretty much the only government business DL does these days. The rest of his time is spent on phone calls to Steve Whitkoff, Jared and his kids, peeking out of Air Force One to deal with the fake news or sitting down with a faker if they suck up enough.
His real presidential business is done in bed or on the loo - posting his AI memes and all-caps decrees on Truth Social.
END CIVILIZATION TONIGHT !!!
