Where widespread LAWLESSNESS [is existing] within a society [any society],
there can be very little liberty, for any citizen in that society.

The 'right' [to freedoms] of a group of individuals [in any society], imo,
are NOT underpinned [i.e. not guaranteed] [in any way] by (a) 'law'.

The 'rights' [to freedoms] of a group of individuals are underpinned by the virtues [if any exist] which are widely acknowledged and widely defended [i.e. respected] by a society of men.

Not so ?

No genocide in Gaza - the population has increased .. food etc are supplied by Israel ... most of the 'children' killed were in arms and trying to kill Israelis...

Attempted genocides include 7/10... Northern Africa where Muslims are slaughtering as many 'others' as possible - Syria ...Lebanon .. Iraq where Christians, Druze and Yazidis are routinely massacred.... Sad Sam tried to kill off the Kurds... in Myanmar the government sought to genocide Rohingya ... the Khmer Rouge killed off about 50% of the Cambodian population....

Plenty of work for a good, honest, hard-working mass murderer ....

When law itself becomes the crime - no human being is safe.... be advised ... be very advised given the ways of the current West on its road to the perdition of concentration camps in several ways.... economic, social, cultural - and eventually physical...... show me the difference.

Between 2026 and 1976, the Political Instability Task Force estimated 43 genocides occurred, resulting in approximately 50 million deaths and displacing a further 50 million people.

Major Historical Episodes (1976–1999)

Cambodian Genocide (1975–1979): The Khmer Rouge regime killed an estimated 1.5 to 2 million people, roughly 25% of Cambodia's population, through execution, starvation, and forced labor.
Indonesian Mass Killings (1965–1966): Although slightly preceding the 50-year window, this event is frequently cited in this era's context, with 500,000 to 1 million people slaughtered by the military and civilian death squads with US support.

East Timor Genocide (1975–1999): Under Indonesian occupation, approximately 100,000 to 183,000 Timorese died from violence, starvation, and disease, representing a significant portion of the population.

Rwandan Genocide (1994): Over 800,000 Tutsi and moderate Hutu were killed in approximately 100 days, recognised internationally as one of the most efficient and brutal genocides in history.
Bosnian Genocide (1992–1995): The Srebrenica massacre in July 1995 saw the killing of more than 7,000 Bosnian men and boys, the only incident in the conflict legally classified as genocide by international courts.

Sudanese Genocide in Darfur (2003–Present): While starting just outside the 50-year cutoff, the conflict escalated rapidly, with estimates of 98,000 to 500,000 killed and millions displaced by government-backed Janjaweed militias.

Rohingya are Muslims who originated from Bengal - present day Bangladesh. Like most Muslim groups when they migrate elsewhere & increase in numbers start agitating & making demands for their own state.
They are not the same ethnicity as the majority of Myanmar Buddhist population.

They carried on in a military state which even locks up it's own opposition politicians on bs charges i.e. Aung San Suu Kyi.

Just like the Muslim Tamils did in Sri Lanka causing a civil war than went on for 26 years from 1983 to 2009.

One of the biggest common denominators in these events is Islam & Muslims.
