Well, the daughter got her dog. So I have been asked to build a dog box.
Not just any dog box, but one that looks like her house. Peaked roof, balcony windows etc.
Out come the tools. Frame mande from 3x2 and the outside with 12mm plywood. Roof made from tin, it's 1200mm long, 1100 mm wide and 1200mm high.
It has its small balcony, a couple of small windows and guttering ( made from 500 plastic pipe. It weighs about 100 kg, damn heavy, so I put some wheels on it to make it more mobile.
Because her house is clad and has horizontal cladding, so I routed slots into the plywood to make it look clad. Paint was then applied.
Finished it Friday.
Tools used Bench circular saw and hand circular saw. Framing nailer Drill Impact driver Chisels Had saws Hammer Mallet Squares, 1200 m rule and various measuring tools. Disk grinder, Disk sander Electric planer Reciprocating saw Bench router and hand router
For the plaque on the front, Scroll saw, sander, blood.
Overall, I'm happy.
