Oversimplified View of PowerState-Centric Bias: The model assumes modern states are the only critical actors. It fails to account for the massive influence of transnational corporations, international bodies, and non-state actors in shaping global affairs.

Neglect of Soft Power: relied heavily on military and physical domination. Modern globalisation relies more heavily on economic networks, supply chain vulnerabilities, financial systems, and cultural soft power rather than physical land occupation.
