It's not affecting me too much yet as I don't have an investment property -
so I'll stay here for now.

Sooner or later Labor will charge people who own their own house rent.   Roll Eyes

I’ve said it before …we do pay a rent to live in our homes! Rates! Ours is a ridiculous $5,200 per annum!
So we are paying $100 per week to live in our home!

Ya got it, baby - we're all tenants of the Crown in and on our own land - welcome to country...

Now - back to those sovereign citizens..... a confused lot ... but every day in every way you see why they develop... it's a way of rebellion and of rejection of the status quo that remains so bogged down in the old Imperial days...

It's 2026 - as I keep saying to the Abo Luvvahs - not 1787 ...  time for a New Deal... surely we pay enough taxes anyway to not have to pay rates - a direct imposition - as well ... if we could just stop the assholes with their hands in the till from wasting it on their pet wet dreams and on themselves......

Talk about sucking up deeply into the soft underbelly fur of the government of this country ....

I bring you the Oz Sovereign Fund.... take back the farm...

Yes - rates seem to be excessive in Victoria.

It makes you wonder where all the money goes?    Undecided

Who elected and reelected this government since 2014?

Er.... The people of Victoria.

Why? What has been the attraction? ESPECIALLY after Cain and Kirner?

The thing that amazed me about Melb was I would wake in the morning and look out the window, the sky was blue not  a cloud the air was warm and there would be lots of people walking down the street on the way to work. Everyone wore a dark coloured suit and carried an umbrella and yes it did in fact rain on them that day and seemingly every day. Like I said all wore dark suits the city was completely devoid of colour. It was a black and white or maybe a sepia city scape. Then cars would start making right turns from the left lane (or was it left turns from the right lane) a truely terrifying sight to behold.

In recent years it hasn't been about how bad Labor have been but about how much worse the Liberals have been.

Labor can't manage money.

We're $200 billion in debt -

the interest bill is $24 million per day.     Shocked

I wasn't sure because I would close my eyes waithing for the screech bang. And then there was the rolling obstructions choofing down the middle of the road trams I think they were called. The amazing thing is that there were survivors.

A man I know was forced to sell his home due to back rates he couldn't pay of $36,000.

He was very sick and couldn't work.
