I get on the phone with Xi.

No Chinese exports into the US of Rare Earths.

No end to the Chinese ban on sulphuric acid exports.
Shortages of sulphuric acid is causing the closing down of mines across the world. Global shortages of copper, nickel, silver, etc resulting in massive price rises ahead.

Shortages on fertilisers. This year's US winter crops is on track to be the smallest in 54 years. Trump is in the process of staving his own people.

Without rare earths, minerals, and metals, the US will not be able to replace depleted weapons, or build a manufacturing base.

Their AI bubble is on the verge of collapse. Buying chips ,then building the data centres, so those chips are then out of date, is not a business model.

Today, the US share market lost 1 trillion in it's first five minutes of opening.

Trump had an opportunity to reset the relationship with China. Instead China gave Trump nothing.

At least Africa is building the infrastructure (via Chinese loans and know how) to carry their future poor American cousins.

There again, Africa is more likely to freely trade with China, rather than the tariff heavy and collapsing currency US.
