Sausage Rolls
May 14th, 2026 at 3:45pm

I don't buy them very often, but just needed a snack/light lunch during the walk I just came back from.

Takeaway, from a small suburban cafe, and it cost me $6.50c.

Seems a little excessive?  Undecided

AI says it's normal.

Based on menus and reviews from Perth cafes and bakeries in 2025–2026, the average price of a takeaway sausage roll generally ranges between $5.50 and $8.50.

Standard Cafe/Bakery: Typical prices for a standard, good-quality sausage roll are around $5.95 to $6.50.

Gourmet/Premium: Specialty or large gourmet options (e.g., pork and fennel) at artisanal cafes often cost between $8.00 and $11.00.

Oh well, there ya go.

I was expecting around $4.

Guess it's been a while since I had one.

Had one about a week back and it was $6.50 too. It was surprisingly good, I wasn't expecting that.
