Faux Pas: Trump Gifts President Xi With Pot Of Honey From White House Beehive
"Here, I know you love this stuff," Trump said, handing a dismayed Xi a ceramic jar clearly labeled in large print "HUNNY."
"No, I don't!" Xi then shouted. "Where you hear this?"
Trump seemed confused by the reaction. "It's just well known," he said. "Right? Or was it your little pig friend who likes the honey? Or the tiger?"
"I no have pig friend!" Xi yelled.
"What are you talking about?" Trump said. "And you know, I almost didn't recognize you without the red shirt."
"Meeting over!" Xi screamed. "Stay away from Taiwan!" Xi then stormed off while Trump shrugged, with sources revealing that he did not understand what had gone wrong.
"I don't understand it," Trump reportedly told one aide. "I thought he loved honey. The intel said he loved honey. Now he's mad, apparently. We've got bees at the White House now. Beautiful bees. Many people are afraid of them. Not me. The bees are afraid of me, believe me. It's too bad. Maybe we'll find the depressed donkey and give it to him."
At publishing time, Xi had reportedly been seen huddled in a side room, greedily eating all the honey.
