The corruption and incompetence of this administration is staggering and when it’s brought to light, Kegseth gets very uncomfortable when it involves him directly…

So what is this about? The guy was trying to gotcha him without ever getting him. All he could parrot was 'you know where this is going' without going anywhere.
No wonder it so impressed Armchair that he started yet another TDS thread that goes nowhere, like the wannabe gotcha questioner.

Hegseth legal adviser sets record straight on Pentagon role after House questioning

Parlatore accused Crow of purposely distorting his career in the military, where he currently serves as a Commander in the Navy Reserve, and his staff of failing to prepare him with accurate information.

Timothy Parlatore, a prominent defense lawyer who has advised President Donald Trump and War Secretary Pete Hegseth, clarified misinformation Thursday that was brought up in a hearing with Hegseth the day before.

Colorado Democratic Rep. Jason Crow questioned Hegseth about Parlatore's role at the Pentagon, his status as an adviser to the secretary, whether he had the necessary clearance to sit in on certain meetings and whether he was an operative of foreign governments.

Parlatore, a commander in the Navy Reserve, accused Crow of intentionally distorting his career in the military and his staff of failing to prepare him with accurate information.

"Every question you asked yesterday had a publicly verifiable answer, and you chose not to verify any of them," Parlatore wrote in a letter shared on X. "You asked them because you wanted to create a misleading impression on camera and you calculated that the hearing format would prevent a complete response. This letter corrects that calculation."

Parlatore denied working for foreign governments, highlighting that he would have to be registered with the Foreign Agent Registration Act if he acted as an agent for a foreign government and that he would not be found on such a register.

The adviser noted that Crow's questioning came from a misunderstanding of his role and commission, stating that he was not a political appointee as Crow attempted to frame him as but is a commander in the Navy Reserve and serves as a "special advisor" to Hegseth, not a "senior advisor."

Crow also claimed in the hearing that Instagram footage proved Parlatore traveled with the secretary and asked whether the Navy reservist keeps a desk at the Pentagon. Hegseth dodged the question.

Parlatore said he has accompanied Hegseth on only two day trips, one to Quantico, in Virginia, and the other to Annapolis, Maryland, and that he does not maintain a desk at the Pentagon.

The adviser also said he does hold a security clearance as a commander in the Navy because it is required of every commissioned officer, and he currently holds a Top Secret clearance given his rank.

"This was publicly reported and could have been discovered by your staff with minimal effort," he insisted. "I was vetted by the Navy before my commission and again for the upgrade – two background investigations, which is more than most people who walk into the Pentagon on their first day can say."

Parlatore additionally criticized Crow for citing media reports with anonymous sources as evidence of tension within the Trump administration and denied having a strained relationship with the president.

Crow has not commented on Parlatore's letter.

He's a slimy little snake and yes, he most certainly belongs in prison.

He better hope that the rapist grants him a pardon before he dies.

Pete Hegseth has fired 24 generals.
Now he brings his wife to Pentagon meetings.
She has no security clearance.

The Guardian published a major investigation Sunday.
The headline finding: Hegseth's third wife, Jennifer Rauchet, a former Fox News producer with no government role and no public security clearance, has been showing up to Pentagon meetings. She sits in the back of the room.

Also his personal lawyer, who also represents foreign interests. Can’t tell me there is no conflict of interest there. He hasn’t been vetted, no confirmation process and no security clearance.

Well, Parlatore addressed Crow's  misunderstandings and insinuations.
You, like Crow, ignore it because it doesn't go with your TDS.

So you start another fatuous, swivelling and totally inconsequential TDS thread (No 56435). It would be pathetic from a 15 year old girl but it's ludicrous from supposedly grown men. And you egg each other on, piling stupidity on pettiness, rancour on raging resentment.

Stunted and stuck in TDS.

As chief apologist for the corrupt Trump regime, I’m not surprised you completely missed the point either accidentally or deliberately.

What IS the point?

Crow's insinuations have been shown to be deliberate distortions or falsehoods. What's left?

Right, you don't like what he's saying (which is the truth, by the way), so it must be fake news, right? Roll Eyes

What about if a 15 year old girl posted this?

You can tell that's fake. His bone spurs would prohibit him from joining in the first place...
