Oh, I can. He's finally "discovered" the truth. It's all about economics, you see.

Yes, while the left have been distracting us with their identity politics, trans and - ahem - race, what the Real Americans really want to discuss is economic disparity and class politics.

After all, why is capital gains tax half the rate of income tax? Why can't the younger generation buy a house? Why is the billionaire and donor class (yes, he really used Cenc Uygur's slogan) ripping off everybody else?

And why isn't anybody talking about it? Tucker now agrees with the Occupy Wall Street movement. And do you know? Left and right don't come into it. The left just started it all with their silly culture wars.

Just think, according to Tucker, DL's descent down the golden elevator and his transformation of the GOP into a race-based, white nationalist party never happened. It's as if all those campaigns on shithole countries emptying out their jails, mental hospitals and mental asylums; the Jigaboos eating our cats and dogs and schools performing gender-reassignment surgery on children never existed.

In fact, Tucker's active participation in it all - his nightly rants on flooding America with Muslims, his week-long specials on trans athletes and the impact of puberty-blockers on children, his softball interviews of DL, his election lies, his MAGA sanewashing - that was just a bit of healthy free speech. Tucker's all better now. He's awake.

If he had done that interview with any hardball journalist, he'd have unclipped the mic and chucked them out of his "modest" Maine cabin in a flash. He's not interested in running for office?

This is all about Tucker running for office - the entire spectacle. The choice of journalist, the concession that maybe platforming Nick Fuentes was a bad idea, the whole shift to socialism.

Tucker is still the same guy who did an infomercial on Vlad's Russia. He's the same guy who hated DL with a passion, but spent seven years doing his propaganda nightly. Tucker's just turning it around to sell himself.

Not even. According to Wolf, the Murdoch family hate Trump too - utterly despise him, actually. At the time Tucker was installed, he was the most powerful voice in the network, advising CEO Lachlan. Tucker answered only to L.

As much as they went with it, the Trump propaganda was never Tucker or Murdoch's thing. It was never a top-down directive. Even Roger Ailes never wanted a Trump presidency. Fox's Trump cult came solely from the need for ratings. Worshipping DL saw the audience-share skyrocket.

On the flip side, when Fox came down on DL after Jan 6, 2021, as every media outlet did, their audience tanked. They got protests, even death threats.

The Murdochs compromised with a push for Desanctis. Desanctis tanked, proving the entire Murdoch empire couldn't get a candidate in off their own bat. After that, they were back on the Trump train.

Tucker's apologies now are all too cute. Some weeks, he spoke to DL daily. He knows what Trump's like - how dumb, how destructive, how unfit for office. Off air, Tucker's pointed out that DL achieved nothing in his first term, leaving only a trail of carnage - wrecked careers, recession, Jan 6.

And yet, Tucker still publicly worshipped him. When your lies are this big, you don't get off with a snivelling apology. Tucker cost the Murdochs alone $980,000,000. He led a leadership cult that got us into where we're at today - trade wars, the impending global economic downturn, war in the middle East, and the US on the brink of withdrawing from NATO entirely, upending the foundation of the peaceful global rules-based order.

At every point in this journey, Tucker has played along.

But hey, we will make America great again, eh?
