General refuses to give Trump nuclear codes

Explosive report claims that Trump tried to ‘use the nuclear codes’ during stormy Iran war meeting

An explosive but unconfirmed report claims that President Donald Trump tried to “use the nuclear codes” during a stormy meeting on the Iran war on Saturday but was stopped by the highest-ranking member of the U.S. military.

The report originated from an appearance by CIA officer Larry Johnson on “Judging Freedom,” a podcast and YouTube talk show hosted by former Fox News legal analyst Andrew Napolitano.

But the report is now being parsed by U.S. news outlets, including Newsweek and MSN.

Newsweek reported that Johnson provided no evidence for his claim, did not identify any sources for his account and did not clarify what he meant by “nuclear codes.”

Newsweek said that it has “found no independent corroboration for the claim.”

During the April 20 episode of the podcast, Johnson claimed that an emergency White House meeting took place on Saturday night amid escalating tensions with Iran.

“One report coming out of that meeting at the White House is that Trump wanted to use the nuclear, so‑called, use the nuclear codes, and General Dan Caine stood up and said ‘no,’" Johnson said.

Johnson described the exchange as “apparently quite a blowup.”

As the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Caine is the highest-ranking member of the U.S. military.

Newsweek said that Johnson “did not name his source, explain how the information was obtained, or provide any details about what actions Trump was alleged to have taken.”

Johnson in addition “did not clarify whether he was referring to a nuclear strike, a briefing, or any formal command process,” the outlet reported.

Armchair do you think that Trump could get the "nuclear codes" and what, put them into an app on his phone.

How can intelligent people fall for this, I know that TDS sufferers will fall for it without hesitation.

Does anyone think that simply getting the codes enables someone to arm nuclear weapons

When your DL uses the nuclear codes to END CIVILISATION TONIGHT, what will you say?

a) How awful. I do hope they impeach his arse.

b) Shit happens. Shurely shome mishtake.

c) We'll win so much we'll grow tired of winning, no?

d) Yes, Master.

I think the point (that you clearly missed) is the fact that he even asked for them and he had to be refused by General Caine.

The President does not have any nuclear codes.

He has to give the OK for a nuclear strike but if
he can't be contacted and the USA is under attack then
someone else can give the OK.

Sorry, Armchair, there's one problem with your cunning scenario.

Saturday night's party night at Mar a Lago. DL always plays DL, selecting the songs on his phone.

He would have had to put his phone down, go to Mar a Lago's top secret area (behind the black curtain next to the pool), log into his top secret laptop and yell at General Caine. Can you imagine?

No one would be playing DJ. The dance floor would be totally dead.

I'm sorry, Armchair, I really don't see that happening.

You?

Nonsense. DL's valet Walt has to carry the nuclear codes around in a briefcase - one more thing to manage, on top of dressing DL, looking after his makeup bag, getting him his Diet Cokes, etc.

It was a lot easier when DL was out of office, that's for sure. Then, Walt just had to look after his boxes - not to mention Melania's panty drawers.

RIGGED WITCH HUNT !!!

Codes are generated, no one carries the codes around, everyone knows that, well except podcasters and TDS sufferers.

So because it was raised on a podcast instead of the 6pm news bulletin, it can't possibly be true, eh?

No it's because generals don't walk around with nuclear codes, except in movies and there is no single code for armament of nuclear weapons, except again in movies.
