A man has been killed in a workplace incident involving a forklift in regional Queensland.

The quarry worker reportedly received critical injuries form a forklift on Monday afternoon while working at Karreman Quarries on West Mount Cotton Rd near Sheldon on Brisbane’s southeastern fringe.
The incident took place at Karreman Quarries near Sheldon.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said four paramedic units attended the scene shortly after they received calls for assistance at 2.19pm.
“Crews attended a serious workplace incident involving a forklift. There was an adult male that was assessed with life-threatening injuries,” she said.
Police also attended the scene and are now assisting Workplace Health and Safety in investigating the incident.
