Europe Falling From the Skies

Airlines UK, which represents the industry, said while it was not seeing disruption to UK jet fuel supply, it was talking to the government about "crucial measures" that would be needed to support the aviation industry in the event of fuel disruption "including reducing regulatory burdens, to protect consumers, trade, and the UK's competitiveness".

The limeys, krauts, ginzos and the frogs are running out of gas. Good for them.

They forgot to mention the most important one (for them) - to protect the airlines' profits.

As I've said before - I see no downside to less planes flying (which are used mostly for people taking their frivolous holidays anyway) - less noise, less pollution and less disease (Covid, flu, measles, etc.) spread around the world on a daily basis. As we saw during the early Covid years.

I wonder how much critical electronics, spare parts, medications is flown into Perth every day.

People living there are at the very end of the world's longest and most fragile supply chains.

They will be good guinea pigs to see what happens when energy security runs out.

Maybe the Afghani camel herders will criss the Nullarbor to deliver your welfare cheques

Comment about realities, duckie - not complain.
