Ones such as us would never support a prez recieving cash/services-in-kind for a criminal pardon.

Not now, not ever. If it happened in our country, it'd be an automatic arrest and dismissal, which we would support absolutely. Our politicians have no power to even issue pardons, explaining why Aquascoot's appealing to the current US prez to pardon his war-criminal hero, Ben Roberts-Smith.

So say someone paid via property deal (one of your"bribes") - How would it be formalised? A change of deed would be required. If it came as being of "non commercial value", then the capital gains would be horrendous when sold.

Hard to say why DL pardoned him. Perhaps it just felt good to release a convicted drug trafficker doing a 40 year stint - the target of six years of surveillance, extradition proceedings and prosecution, a huge win for the DEA and DOJ, costing millions.

I don't know about the sick, dear. Last time your DL tried to heal them, he had them drinking bleach to do a number on the lungs. Then, he went on to appoint the most redeculous health secretary the US has ever had. His nomination for Surgeon General's not even a surgeon - she promotes online vitamin supplements and fake herbal cures.

But he's sure good at putting criminals back on the streets. Over half a dozen of the insurrectionists went on to commit further violent and sexual offences.
