Melania Trump says rumours linking her to Epstein 'need to stop'

First Lady Melania Trump has denied connections to Jeffrey Epstein, telling reporters at the White House that any claims linking the two "need to end today".

In a surprise announcement on Thursday, the first lady called for congressional hearings for survivors of Epstein's sex trafficking.

She also denied online rumours that Epstein introduced her to Donald Trump, calling them "mean-spirited attempts to defame my reputation".

Everyone associated with Trump is trying to rehabilitate their image at the moment, distance themselves from him, and even speak out about him, from those in his inner circles to those who have been some of his biggest supporters and mouthpieces during the campaign.

All those whose only hope to stay out of prison isn't Trump continuing to be the President, that is.

The cracks are wider than the Strait of Hormuz.

Not sure what they're trying to hide this time, but they're obviously very worried.

Is she trying to get in front of a big news story that's about to break?

Or maybe distancing herself from Trump's creepy past so she can avoid prison?
