Arse backwards as usual - Trump PROPOSED a two week ceasefire -Iran surrendered to it ninety minutes before strikes began.... of course Trump accepted their agreement....

The Strait is open - but missiles are still being fired at Israel (exchanged said the tame Novosti - can't wait for the ABC spin on this one) ... no deal over what the other states ATTACKED by Iran will do.... Iran fires at them - they fire back.... Trump - unlike the Ayatollah and his henchmen - is not a dictator .... though Iran's dictators would love to extend their rule to all other countries.... get with the program.

Well, Trump DID possibly scare them into a ceasefire with his threat to eliminate the 'civilizition of Iran' (which he could obviously do, even if alienating what remains of global regard for the US...).

But your Neanderthal acceptance of war as the dispute settlement mechanism between nations is itself brought into focus by this war.

Admittedly the UN itself holds to the absurd concept of "legal war" - an insanity which is why war is still legal in international law.

Allowing Israel to contiue eliminating the religious zealots via genocide, as in Gaza, while murdering non-combatants.

Of course the fundamentalists in Iran are claiming a victory, as a consequence of Trump's apparent back-down, they are very sick bunnies.
